"Comparison of my IPad 2 with my Xoom" - By A (Seattle, WA USA)
I have purchased both an iPad2 and Xoom for different family members. I thought it worth comparing the two devices for anyone interested. Many of my comments are subjective so bear that in mind when reading the review.
External appearance and feel: The iPad2 screen has a different feel from the Xoom screen - the iPad2 is a bit slicker, less likely to stick when moving short distances. The screen on the Xoom tends to show fingerprints more than the Ipad2 for some reason. Everyone in this family thinks that the iPad2 looks sharper than the Xoom.
Both weigh 1.6 lbs. Subjectively, the Xoom feels heavier than the Ipad2, but it's an illusion perhaps caused by it's slightly smaller size. UPDATE: I need to learn to use the scales - the Xoom is about 3 ounces heavier than the iPad2.

"Comparison Between Kindle and Apple iPad" - By The Big Guy (Pittsford, NY USA)
Want the long and the short of it without having to read a "mega review"? Here goes. I have an original Kindle and a DX and I've had an iPad for one week. I love them all, but the iPad has won me over. Here's what I've experienced so far:
VERSATILITY - Apps, movies, music, pictures, effective internet connectivity, color display, extremely intuitive GUI all combine to make iPad the hands down winner in this category.
DISPLAY - E Ink is much better for reading, especially in bright light. And, the matte screen on the Kindle doesn't smudge as easily as the iPad screen. However, the iPad has a gorgeous color display and once you get accustomed to it, reading is not difficult. I especially like the backlit display at night when reading in bed ... I can read to my hearts content and not bother my sleeping ... full review
I just purchased this device, i previously owned the iPad 2 and the iPad 3rd gen. Below are some of the improvements with this latest model and some of my impressions.
- Dual-core A6X with quad-core graphics means games and apps runs twice as fast compared to the 3rd Gen iPad. No slowdowns on apps that i previously had problems with. - Wifi speeds are also twice as fast. The improvements are noticeable, downloading on the Appstore, watching Youtube and just browsing are quick. - It runs cooler. Using this device for several hours won't burn you, Battery life is also the same to the previous model. - Front facing camera is 720p, back is 5 megapixel
Cons - Lightning connection port means some accessories won't work without an adapter. - The camera quality wasn't that impressive.
Overall the upgraded version has many improvements, if ... full review
"Great combination of style and function" - By Dr. Dapertutto (Los Angeles, CA)
I just picked one of these up and wanted to throw in a few comments that I haven't seen on other reviews. I've had this keyboard for about a day now and overall I'm quite please with it. It doesn't fully cover and protect the iPad, but it's great if you care about matching the sleek style of the iPad. When closed it feels like a MacBook Air. Cnet and Zdnet have some useful video reviews that I suggest taking a look at if you want to see it in action.
I've seen people use similar keyboard docks at cafes and often the iPad gets bumped and falls out of the docking groove. Since there are magnets in this keyboard's groove, the iPad sticks firmly in place. Also, the iPad screen doesn't bounce around when you tap and swipe. I would even feel comfortable using it on my ... full review

"Perspective from an Android and Windows User" - By J. Anderson (Austin, TX)
I realize I must have been living under a rock for the past few years since I've never owned an Apple product. I've been using PCs since I was a kid in the early 90s and Android on my smartphone for three years (Blackberry before that). So it was not an easy decision for me to take the plunge on the New iPad. Below are my findings thus far, some of which I knew before buying and some that I've learned since. I won't spend time reviewing technical details or comparisons to the iPad 2. There are dozens of professional reviews out there that have done as much. Instead, this is my perspective in using the iPad after so many years with non iOS products.
Positives: + Beautiful design, form, fit, etc. Always seems to be the case for Apple products (sometimes ... full review
Netflix Issue: When I first got the KFHDX, I had no problems with Netflix. One day, it stopped working. I could open the app, select a video and start it, but I would get an error message and no video would come up.I tried all kinds of fixes from hard reboot of device, reboot router and so forth. Nothing. Well, after a couple weeks of frustration, I got it fixed.
Go to: Settings Applications Manage All Applications Scroll down and select Netflix Select "Clear Cache" (Data will change to 12.00KB) Select "Clear Data" (Window will pop up and ask Clear Application Data? Choose "Clear Data") Return to Kindle Home page (Little white house icon at lower right) Open Netflix app Sign back in to Netflix Open a show or movie It should work again with no error message Enjoy

I don't Rate or Write Reviews very much, but when a product exceed my expectations I tend to want to share the NEWs!!! I did a lot of research before I bought this product (ZaggKeys ProFolio+) and this bluetooth keyboard kept coming up a lot, along with the Clamcase. I was looking for a Bluetooth keyboard to use with my iPad 2 and this product fit my needs very well. I didn't want a product that made my iPad a Laptop, like the Clamcase, if you are looking for a product to do so, then Clamcase is your best bet. However, I was looking for a product which allowed me to easily go back and forth between using my iPad on it's own or having a great Bluetooth keyboard when needed. I also did not want my iPad to look like a small Laptop (draws ... full review
This router is exactly what my family needed. I will give you a brief summary of our use and how it might apply to you.
In our home we have Verizon Fios 75/35 and have been using the supplied Actiontec router for the past several years. Because my kids have gotten tablets recently and are constantly streaming Netflix, I have seen a decline in my wireless quality for my own use. I initially tried purchasing the newer wireless N router from Verizon, but that only gave a slight boost in my speed, if any. I also recently purchased an Nvidia Shield and needed a 5ghz AC router in order to take full advantage of the PC game streaming ability. At our highest usage we will have the following electronics connected wireless:
Xbox One ( Capable of up to 5ghz wireless N ) Playstation 4 ( Capable ... full review
