This product is amazing, it breaks down and you can put a PTT hook up onto the earpiece. Little awkward but amazing quality. I even wear it while riding my motorcycle, my bikes loud and I can still hear everything.
Very good belt for the Money! Has every thing you need from cell phone, to ASP holder, I replaced the holster with a Level III ,but other than that I decided to use the rest of it. The belt is softer then my old leather gear and more comfortable to wear. the belt itself has Velcro exposed all the way around the inside, so it will cling to any Velcro 1 3/4" pants belt just fine, cutting down the number of keepers you'll need. The snaps on all the gear holders have Velcro back ups so the flaps stay closed when shut! It is about on par with Uncle Mikes stuff as far as quality, but not up to Bianchi standards, or as stiff, OR AS PRICY! If you like super stiff or molded nylon gear then you probably won't like this belt, but again Hard to beat for the ... full review
Been an LEO for 4 years now and wanted to carry a response vest in my patrol car. Read the reviews like everyone else and got mixed emotions about it. Don't know about the rest of you, but nothing pisses me off more than getting half way through a review just to find out it is by some 12 year old who bought the product for an airsoft match and thinks he is Rambo. Don't get me wrong, my department trains with high quality airsoft guns and they are very effective. Much more cost effective than simunitions. But I think there should be a disclaimer at the beginning of every review done by someone 16 or younger just to save me the trouble. Sorry, had to vent and now I will get back on track. For my purposes, this vest seems to work well. I was able to route my ... full review
Ok yes the item does come with some type of goo and a scratch here and there, the goo I got rid of with paper towels never saw it again and I been using these daily. The case is bad quality apparently... I got a great quality one for some reason. The item came on time as always. The scratches were so small I can barely notice them. Now the real story is that they are frowned upon at work... apparently all police should have Smith and Wesson handcuffs. If something happens to these or I lose them ill be buying some more, I like these a lot.
Took me a while to figure out the double locking mechanism. I don't think anyone explained it well on here yet so here it goes:
Double locking means that the cuffs will not accidentally get too tight. If you look on the key, there are TWO ends of the key. The normal end which is used to unlock the cuffs normally. There is a pin on the other end of the key that if you insert it into a tiny hole on the SIDE of the cuff, it will prevent the cuffs from getting smaller. To undo this, use the normal side of the key and put it in the keyhole and turn counter clockwise all the way. Then turn clockwise to unlock the cuffs.
I got this light from Amazon. It came well packaged and double boxed. The light is farily well built and has a heavy feel to it. It comes with 2 chargers one home wall charger and one car charger. Both the home and car chargers have a charge condition light on them, not on the flashlight. The barrel clicker is solid and the three settings are Low,Strobe and High. The setting control has memory in that the last mode selected is available when you turn it on again. An extra battery is supplied with the unit. The beam is very tight and concentrated and although not a true 500 lumen (seems to be more like 300 or so.)
In my example, the reflector glass had some dust on the inside which I cleaned off by unscrewing it.
This speaker-mic ended up being exactly what I expected. I'm happy with it. I like the headset port at the bottom of the speakermic, I didn't realize it had that port before I bought it, and it's handy.
"NOW THATS A DUTY BELT!" - By S. Dohl (Fairfax, VA USA)
Honestly the best duty belt I have ever used. I am a Federal Security Enforcement officer and this duty belt goes leaps and bounds above my Government issue gear. I am planning on starting up my own security company and I can say Ill be ordering these in bulk for all of my officers. Thanks so much pyramid air!
