This game is fantastic. Plays a lot like pre 1.2 Terraria, and I feel like they did a really good job at capturing that feel. Unlike previous mobile versions of popular games (MC:PE), this one has all the same content as the PC version (pre 1.2). The fps seems to be smooth, I love being able to choose between 5 hotbar slots and 10 and the zoom is really great. The controls have obviously been really refined, which means it shouldn't take too much time to adjust. The character creation screen is surprisingly easy to figure out and use. The gameplay is almost exactly like Terraria PC, and if you have never played that, I recommend that you look it up. For those that don't want to look it up right now, it shares quite a lot with Minecraft, including building, mining, ores and more. But this game ... full review
This is a awesome feature. You purchase it and are given the code immediately so that you do not have to wait for anything. Which is the same as if you did it through the PSN network or went to a store and purchased a card. I love this new option because I sell my old games back to amazon, and now with the credits they give me I can either buy new games or put it on my PSN account. This is GREAT!
"GREAT GAME BUT NEVER SHOULD HAVE PREORDERED FROM AMAZON" - By Shannon Kiley (Newton, MA USA)
I have been a loyal prime customer for over 5 years. I get nearly everything from Amazon so when a game I really wanted was going to come out I preordered two copies (one for my fiance and one for me). Here's where things went wrong:
1. Game arrived, no code was emailed to unlock bonus content 2. Contacted Amazon support, one code was provided which I was told would work for both copies 3. Code only works for one copy 4. Contacted support again, was told that because both copies were purchased by the same user (i.e. ME) that only one code is issued per account
SO WHAT AMAZON IS TELLING ME IS THAT BECAUSE I DECIDED TO GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS INSTEAD OF GETTING IN MY CAR AND DRIVING TO THE LOCAL GAME STORE, I'M GETTING SCREWED OUT OF THE PREORDER BONUS CONTENT. Nice...real nice.
When I initially wrote my review, I wasn't aware of the differences between free-to-play and the retail version. Someone commented that the retail version allows you to have a larger backpack and to trade items with others whereas the free version does not. Had the free option been available when I bought the game, I probably would have opted for the free version.
All in all, this game is super fun and highly addicting. If there is any question in your mind about if it's worth it, just download it from Steam and try it out for free. If you get to the point where you need the trading, bigger backpack, then purchase the retail version from Amazon ($10 cheaper than Steam last time I checked).
"What Payday: The Heist was trying to be" - By Shneebly
I can't promise that you'll like Payday 2, but for the style of gameplay that it is- it's a fantastic game- one that feels like a near flawless implementation of what the developers were trying to accomplish in the first game.
Let's start with pre-orders. It's not something I should have to talk about, but considering the Metro: Last Light fiasco, its something we should touch on. Those who pre-ordered such as myself recieved 2 special masks (somewhat akin to hats in TF2), a red and black color scheme, a special red dot sight that in reality is very similar to the one offered to all players, as well as some in game cash. An extra few bucks will get you two beta keys.
This is how pre-order bonuses should be done- and considering that the game is in the black pre-release, it worked. Overkill difficulty did not ... full review
No problems with this wired controller! I bought it for my computer and works as expected. I also tested the controller in a Xbox 360 and it worked well too! No problems installing drivers either! (Windows Update took care of that)
Overall, this is an excellent and well-made game that I would recommend to any fan of RPGs.
Instead of a long, drawn-out review, I will write a quick synopsis along with the PROs and Cons that I've encountered.
Skyrim's gameplay is not drastically different from its predecessor Oblivion. So if you enjoyed Oblivion I highly recommend that you get this game. Skyrim's gameplay is similar to such a point that I refer to it as Oblviion 2.0. This is not necessarily a bad thing, since I enjoyed Oblivion and it was also an excellent game.
- Fun, engaging gameplay - interesting story lines that do not restrict the player to a given script - infinite questing - new, more intuitive leveling system, a needed change from Oblivion - free roam, expansive environment with breath-taking landscape views - Mods. Want darker nights? Naked NPCS? Player designed ... full review

"Much Needed Denomination for Xbox Live Currency" - By Zeph Greenwell (Decatur, IL)
This is a great denomination to release Microsoft points in. Since most games on Xbox Live Arcade are purchased in 400 point ($5) increments this card give you the ability to download ten 400 point games or five 800 point games or some other combination (you get the idea). $50 is also a much more acceptable amount than the $62.50 for 5000 points. Since this is on a card it makes this possible to give as a gift or buy without using a credit card. This would be a worthwhile purchase for anyone with an Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.
"Amazing game, even if the console port is below average" - By Nestor (Saint Louis, Macau)
TLDR Version ---------------------- The main reason I posted this is because this game is phenomenal even on the PC. The PC version is being downplayed as crap by many because it's a sub-optimal port that doesn't take advantage of what many beefy PC's can do. It's my opinion that the vast majority of PC gamers who love challenging combat will love Dark Souls. The frame rates are nice and steady compared to the consoles, and Durante's unofficial graphics patch makes it much prettier than the console versions. I hope the Dark Souls developers and publishers permit fans to continue to improve on this through mods, because the foundation is there for one of the best experiences in the history of gaming.
Personal Review Version ---------------------- I beat this game on PS3 last year. Was excited but leery about getting it on PC due to ... full review
