"Works Great" - By Tom Moravee (Van Nuys, Ca United States)
I bought this with some hesitation after reading one negative review...but I'm glad I got it because it works great but keep in mind you have to have the shiney side facing the monitor for it to work properly

"Fantastic Little Computer!" - By Vanessa (North Idaho)
I purchased one of these laptops from Link-Tronics Memory through Amazon, to replace a laptop my grandmother had that she lost in a wildfire in Texas. She loved it! But more importantly, she took it to her computer guy and he said it was an excellent computer - better than any refurbished computer he sold.
Then I purchased one for my sister who has wanted a laptop for a while.
Finally I purchased one for my teenage son for Christmas.
What I was thrilled about these little laptops is that they came loaded and tweaked almost exactly how I would done. In all honesty, I was prepared with my OS disc and drivers and programs to reformat, but there was no need to do so.
The performance of these laptops has far superseded an XPS gaming laptop that was given to me a couple years ... full review
I didn't have a lot of money to spend on a computer and all of the chain stores that I had gone into to buy a computer did not have the service or the selection that I wanted. I was hesitant to purchase a computer "on-line" but now I am glad that I did. The computer was exactly what I wanted (Amazon gives you more information up front on what you are purchasing than any other place that I had tried), and I received it within two days. I have not had one problem or complaint. Well done.

This purchase was for a 90 year old "Facebooker") and email reviewer. For a very reasonable price we got her an operationally like new laptop with Windows 7 uploaded. My techie nephew was impressed with the quality of the unit and the speed of operation as well as the ease of set up.
Purchased because I wanted a second machine for checking email and browsing youtube. Works great, super fast, tried to install Ubuntu but for some reason the internet would not work =(. However I will not hold that against it.
I do love how light it is, it runs quiet, and starts from a cold boot in about 25 seconds (I'm not kidding), screen color is vivid and video play back (@720P res..) is flawless.
These are limitations of the machine, not downsides!
- Battery life is short, not suprising in something this light. - O.S. use is limited offline (Well.. lets be honest, its useless w/o an internet connection!)
SO... If you just need a fast little machine that does about what a tablet does, you'll probably like this.

I'm based in the UK and bought my unit there. However, physically this model is nearly identical to ours (to my knowledge only the keyboard layout and socket you need for charging it differs) and I've been using Chrome OS and previous Chrome hardware for a while, so I thought I'd give my take on this device.
I've owned the Cr-48 for a while, which was a kind of test unit Google sent out to people to beta test the operating system. That came out a long time ago and none of the commercial units have felt good enough to me to justify buying, up until now. They were always a little too expensive, despite the obvious advantages.
This will be a long review. For those wanting a short summary, I'll include one at the end.
For those unclear, Chrome OS (which the Chromebook ... full review
I was skeptical about purchasing a refurbished D610. It has worked like a charm the speed and capacity are suitable for my needs. It's a great home computer, I don't have to do any heavy computing with it but it seems quite capable to take on any job. The only thing that could be better is the brightness of the screen. I need to do some research to see if I can make adjustment in the screen brightness. I purchased the updated anti-virus and malware software and updated my router, it accepted all I could throw at it and works just fine. For $233.00 this has been a great bargain!!!
