"Great product and fun to put on!" - By Laura Scarlett (Cleveland, OH USA)
This is a nice set of nude eyeshadows. The colors are great and the names are so much fun. Shadow applies on smooth and there's no creasing. I also like the brush that's included, it is soft and doesn't irritate my skin like some brushes do. It exceeded my expectations. Two thumbs up!
It's a great deal, and the colors come in a range of really useful shades. They stay on pretty well with a primer. I thought the pigmentation could be better for the light colors. Other than that, it's a great palette! I use it a lot.
Amazing!! I love neutral colors, especially matte colors, and this palette has an equal mix of matte and shimmer colors. There is fall out with these shadows so remember to tap the brush before you apply to your eye. The shadow has lasting wear and very blendable. The palette colors are very pigmented so apply lightly and just build up to the color you want.
Packaging is very nice. The mirror is very sizable, and the outside texture reminds me of a soft rubber finish. It has a magnetic closure.
Comparison between Naked and Lorac Palettes: I'm probably one of the few people that did not like the Naked palette. I returned my Naked palette (after trying it for one week when it first came out) and since then I've been waiting for something better to come out. And it finally has! I personally like the Lorac Pro ... full review
Im a fan of Samantha's tutorials on youtube, so as soon as I was able to buy this brushes I did, most of all because Ive seen that a lot of other makeup artists use them as well. They are affordable and soft, easy to clean, some of them have a lineal base so they stand up on vanities and desks. This particular set has 4 brushes, all with the same color (which corresponds to face) and their bristles are synthetic so they can work powders, creams, liquids and minerals: 1. The pixel detailer brush: this is meant to be as concealer brush. however, its really tiny, so I use it for lips and also for gel eyeliners, when i dont want a perfect line. 2. The Pointed foundation brush: This one has a triangular shape, and its flat: This one I use for concealer around my nose for example. ... full review
I'm 41 years old and have never owned any make up brushes except my blush brush. To be honest, I dont even know what prompted me to want any in the first place. I think it was mostly I was sick of the sponge aplicatior coming off all the time. I couldnt be more happy with these. I got them because the price was good and they come in a case so there not just floating around my make up bag. Not only did it cut my time in front of the mirror down by almost 10 min, but my make up looks so much better. You just cant get the same blending effect with the little sponge aplicatior that you can with a brush. I dont use the little one ment for liner because my gel liner brush is very good and I use the brow brush for my ... full review
"Grab this while you can!" - By honkyourskonk (Vancouver, Canada)
This palette is a spectacular value at $22 and free shipping. Consider the fact that you're getting 10 very good quality eye shadows that have a very unique look to them, PLUS a Stila smudge stick, PLUS a very nice case. I loved this palette from the first time I swatched it in my local store and compared it to the other similar palettes - but with different shades - which Stila has put out for the spring. But there was no way I was going to pay full price :-) In addition, the purple cased palette was definitely not my favorite, while the light tan cased palette was crumbly, difficult to blend and just overall horrible. This one - In The Garden - is the definitive winner of the 3. If you're thinking of picking it up, don't hesitate because as I said, the price on this palette can't ... full review
"The Ultimate Makeup Applicator" - By Donna OBrien (West Tennessee)
I found this amazing sponge while searching the net for the flocked sponges I had been using for sometime. After using this "pink egg" for well over a month, I won't be returning to the traditional methods ever again! Using this sponge in the prescribed "bouncing" motion (either wet or dry) provides an unusually even, natural, and flawless finish, which I never achieved using sponges, brushes or my finger tips. I especially like the sponge's smooth, suede texture and egg shape (the narrow end is great for around the eyes and nose, while the larger end provides for even application on the cheeks, forhead and chin). I no longer worry about "streaks" and "blotches" in my foundation! The other sponges I've used seemed to "soak up" an excessive amount of foundation, which either remainded in the sponge (to be washed out or thown away with the sponge) or ended up ... full review
"the best foundation brush over all other expensive brands" - By bonbon
I purchased this brush at Ulta after seeing the makeup artist on you tube. I have used expensive foundation brushes from bobbi brown (the flat foundation brush) to shu umera, shisiedo, and my favorite foundation brush was a tarte brush I purchased with a powder foundation from QVC. I am a part time makeup artist and I honestly have never used a more soft yet firm foundation brush. The brush buffs the skin perfectly and places the foundation in every pore. I have used sponges and the beauty blender and disklike them both. This again is so worth the money and I find that synthetic brushes pick up more product but it is important to make sure they are not too soft. I will be purchasing another one as I am obsessive about having a back-up at all times.
"BEST matte eyeshadow, really worthwhile purchase." - By Sodaholicgurl
These eyeshadows wear incredibly well and just stick on your lids and blend so well. They are literally so pigmented and buttery that I was shocked when I put them on for the first time. Even with very high end eyeshadows I expect to have to pack on a few times to get a decent color payoff but I put on one layer of each color and they were basically opaque on my tan skin! They don't feel chalky, powdery, or uncomfortable to wear, I feel like I'm not wearing heavy eye makeup with this on. These are also HUGE and I can use the white and yellow as matte highlight colors and the darker browns to do my brows and maybe even contour my face if I'm in a crunch without being afraid of running out. It has a good mix of cool and warm colors and a good mix ... full review
I am fair skin, blue eyes and blonde hair and this is by far the best eye shadow kit I have ever used. It works with my skin and makes my eyes pop. I love the little direction cards. This is so worth the money!
