"Extremely Funny and very educational AAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++" - By David D. Lawson (The Peoples Republic of California)
I just love this series about a Pawn Shop in Las Vegas! It is the American version of those stuffy BBC Antique road shows but is a whole lot funnier and just as educational. The "Old Man" is just outroariously funny as one Crusty Old Dude, his son is a font of information and Hoss is a barrel of frustration dealing with those two handfuls. I won't even go on about Chumlee as comic relief. As they would say The History Channel hit one out of the ball park with this one! I just hope that this series continues for a good long time! (I gotta get out to Las Vegas soon to see these guys asap)
Ether's method has transformed my approach to my own long-term back pain therapy. I have herniated lumbar disks, in addition to tight gluteus medius and piriformis that have contributed to chronic sciattica over the past 5 years. I have employed many forms of therapy, including PT, massage, Yoga, inversion, Feldenkrais and others. All have helped, but when a friend told me about Esther's book, I was intrigued to try a new approach. Within 3 hours of integrating Esther's method of stretchsitting (did this while reading the book), I felt a tremendous improvement in my pain level. This was especially significant to me, since at the time, I was 2 weeks away from an epidural cortisone injection - my overall pain level had become unbearable. I worked on the other 8 steps over that time period and was able to cancel the procedure because after 2 weeks I was 95% pain-free. ... full review
My back itches from time to time. Scratching one place often makes the spot next to it itch. Somewhere during this process, it reaches somewhere hard to reach, and you end up looking like a primate. Use tools, feel human.
I did, however cut the wheely things off the back end. Pointless, and make the product overly long and awkward. I bought two; one for home and one for work. Best $10 (w/ shipping) I'd ever spent.
Buy Back was an awesome read and I encourage everyone to pick it up. Funny and captivating, the characters jumped right off the page and I felt like I was walking the streets of Brooklyn as I read this book.
"Better than a chiropractor!" - By Bruno (North Carolina, US)
I have one at the office and one in my car. It fits well on both the car seat and the desk chair. I am buying another for home. The spine adjustment that it provides has done wonders for my neck as well. It took about ten to twenty minutes to get used to, but within a couple weeks my back is better than it has been in years. The price beats a chiropractor, and the results are even better!
"Quality made but hard to get the right size. Maybe XL = 46"- 52", L = 40"-46"" - By Quality Control (Los Angeles, CA United States)
None of the companies who make these back supports seem to have ever tried their products on real people to get the sizing right. I don't see any size guidelines in the listing and the size chart offered in another review is pretty far off, from my experience. I have a waist size that varies from 42 to 46 depending on how active I am. Because the stretchy side wings are too long on the XL, it's really too big to give me strong back support. I just ordered the same thing in a size Large, which I expect to be pretty tight when my waist is at 44 inches -- but it needs to be tight to provide good back support. This brand is very well made but it's useless if it doesn't fit right. I could probably have used the XL if they had simply made the side ... full review
"Great Scott! This set is ready for 88 MPH!" - By Nancy
The time machine needs to be rebuilt... 401 pieces to assemble to get back to 1985. It's got so many custom pieces, including a "flux capacitor," a time travel dash display reading 1958 (a reference to when the first Lego bricks were built), and a personalized California license plate that reads... OUTATIME. Mr. Fusion will supply you with the power to go Back To The Future! We just need to get the set and get building. If you want the official Lego Delorean, with the wing doors and fold-up wheels, this is the one to get. Including 2 minifigs, both Marty McFly and Doc Brown are ready for adventure!
I saw another review that warned against buying this product from Amazon if you live in a hot climate. I would concur! My weather is pretty close to what you'd find in Las Vegas and the chocolate had melted all over the place. I think that was actually nice for what got stuck on the food but a lot of it stuck to the bag and was uneaten chocolate. In some cultures, uneaten chocolate is one of the seven deadly sins. So beware!
Otherwise, this tasted pretty good. If you love Granola, you can't go wrong by adding some chocolate to it. It was a little hard for trail mix but it makes a good breakfast. I'd say the only ones who shouldn't have this are those who do not like dark chocolate. If you prefer milk chocolate than this ... full review
