I love games where everyone is involved all the time, and you're not just sitting there waiting for your turn. This is one of those games! You have to pay attention, 'cause if the first person can not name three things in five seconds -- like "furniture stores" of "reality tv shows" -- that their card asks for, then the second person gets five seconds to name three, and if they fail then the third person goes, and so on and so forth. The big catch is, once an answer has been said, it can not be repeated. So if the first person names two reality tv shows -- for instance, "Biggest Loser" and "Survivor" -- then no one following them can use those answers.
This game is fast-paced and loads of fun! We played it over the Christmas holiday, and everyone from the three teens to the four ... full review
"I have played with over a hundred people, everyone has enjoyed it" - By Christopher Weed (Baltimore, MD United States)
This is not just an apples to apples deck filled with anne frank cards. The basic structure of the game is the same as Apples to Apples, but there's so much more to it. I've played wiith a bunch of distinct groups of people... a lot of whom start the game by ranting their hatred for apples to apples. But once we start everyone wants to play until they run out of cards. This includes the game I played with my family and my 80 year old grandmother (although explaining some of the cards to her was definitely awkward).
There's a real art in how the question and answer cards fit together. It honestly feels like you're all sitting around telling jokes. At a certain point the game comes alive and as you play various rounds the humor of the group you're in seeps into the game. It feels ... full review
We played this game with about 15 of our friends. It is incredibly simple and easy to play. Even our younger children (6,9,and 10) can play. It was so fun to see what everyone's ideas were. If you are looking for a super funny, laugh out loud game, this is it!
"Similar to Loaded Questions and very funny" - By Ali (GRAHAM, NC, United States)
My husband and I are in our late 20's and host many couple game nights. We are always looking for games that get everyone laughing. We already own and love playing Loaded Questions and this game is very similar. A card is read, "things you shouldn't laugh at", "things you would like to do in a blackout", "things you wish were delivered", or "things that jiggle". Every player writes an anonymous answer and others have to guess who gave what answer. In Loaded Questions, one player per round tries to match the quotes to each player. This is a key difference in the Game of Things. Each player gets a chance to match a quote with another player during a round, if they are correct they get a point and try to match another person to a quote. If they miss, the ... full review
Bought this for the kids for Christmas, they have played with the game almost daily. Its fun for all age groups, even Dad gets involved in this one. You might look goofy wearing the hedbanz, but its a great laugh and fun for all.
Might be the most fun we've ever had playing a board game! We laughed ourselves silly. The game is quick to learn, and length of games depends on how many players you have. We played several games. With three people each took about 30 minutes. My son burst into show tunes we had no idea he knew and we discovered my daughter could rap. This was a huge hit and will be the first game we pull out next time. Don't think twice. Get it and play.
"Dare You to Name 5 Reasons Not to Buy This Game!" - By Player 02
Played Name 5 at a recent family function this past weekend. We went off the grid and picked pairs (adults and kids ages 3+) and just did random cards. The kids were pretty damn good at it. Yours truly and my 7 year old won, so it was a great night. Well done, sirs!!!!
