"Best $60 I ever spent!" - By J. Claus (Tracy, CA)
Last year I bought an Aero pool that was not worth the $100+ I spent for it, and was a huge pain to boot. This year I bought this pool, and yes it takes more than 30 minutes to put together, yes 2 people to set up is better than one, and yes I have to air up the ring pretty much before each use. But you get terrific value for price. My 8 year old, 6 year old and 4 year old and up to 2-3 friends have all used it. They're even able to swim under water which is great. And it's terrific for kids learning to swim. It's not as great as an inground pool, but for someone with a small backyard, it's great. My kids want to swim every day now. I don't usually write reviews but considering the price and the use we're getting out ... full review
I'd purchased some other plastic tent stakes before these & one of them broke when pounding it into the ground. If you decide to buy plastic stakes, make sure they are ABS. They may bend or warp a bit over time with heavy pounding, but the Adams Manufacturing ABS stakes will not break. I highly recommend these over any metal stake on the market. Metal stakes rattle around & are noisy, as well as bend if they strike a rock or hard root. These ABS stakes are lightweight, don't take up much more room than the smaller 'ultra light' metal stakes. These will last me a long time. Very happy with them!
We go camping at the beach every year and its the same thing, the tent stakes come out of the ground 5 or 6 times for the weekend from the wind. It always seemed to be at night, I would have to get up and fix it because half the tent would be laying on us. Two years ago we gave up trying to put a tarp up for shade because of the wind. We bought two sets of these for this years trip and it was the best $22 I ever spent! The tent stayed up until we took it down and the tarp wipped, shook and shivered above our heads but never came down. We even used one of the stakes on the tarp to hook Barks chains to so he couldn't run off and he would have some shade as well. (Barks the dog, I am sure ... full review
Purchased this for an outdoor event last summer. It did a great job of keeping the flies and bugs out. Nothing like being able to enjoy your event rather than baby sit the food because someone forgot to put the cover on a dish. You can access the food from either side of the tent. Only downside was that it was a little more difficult to put together than I expected. You could probably do it with 2 people, had 3.
This review may sound like I am an employee of Open Air Cinema, but I'm not. No stock, no compensation, no nothing. If you want to change plain old watching a movie with your kids or neighbors to a memorable event, this works. Since drive-in's are memories of the 40 and over crowds, this help fill that void. Setup and take down with two people takes about 30 minutes for us, but that is setting up everything ... power cords, electronics, wiring, sound, and cooler (if I can say that). The screen itself is the easy part. The 16:9 movies fill the whole screen ... that is when it is best. The only thing I wish it had was spring loaded tie-down thingamajiggies.

I ordered these to stake a group of newly planted fruit trees. Sturdy enough for the young trees. The design is good for using various tying materials (rope, nylon webbing, etc). I have enough to use for other gardening projects too.
"Broke...but replaced without asked (fan of Tuff Stakes now)" - By Shauna Gordon
I purchased these looking for something to stake down my trampoline due to high winds here in New Mexico. We do have some difficult ground but figured after researching these they would be the best. I hammered the first two into one side with a normal hammer and it took me forever but eventually got them in the ground. Next I tried the other side and couldn't take it anymore so I bought a small sledge hammer. I got the next two stakes started and finished in no time because one bent and the other snapped. Needless to say they aren't as Tuff as their namesake portrays. Very disappointed, I guess as long as they hold the tramp in we'll be happy but not a very good product at least not here in New Mexico!
