While I know many people that prefer the T-Rex bulbs, I have almost always used the PowerSun UV 100W for my Tortoises (2 juvenile CherryHeads and 1 adult Russian) and I have had great luck with them. I started using them because they were much easier to find locally where I used to live, and have continued due to the price and reliability. I have never had one of these burn out early. The T-Rex bulbs I have tried have almost always burned out well before the stated life of the bulb. Anyone keeping tortoises should know that unless they are getting a LOT of time outside a self-ballasted MVB is the ONLY lamp that will provide both heat and the necessary amount of UVB for vitamin D synthesis, so the only question is which brand to buy. I do not have a UV meter, so I hope the earlier ... full review

me encantó este libro desde que lo trabaje con estudiantes de tercer grado, ahora planeo usarlo con quinto grado. Sobretodo cuando se regresa en el tiempo y como todos los eventos van ligados con el desenlace.
Gyokuro as simply the best tasting tea we've tasted - and we've tasted plenty. I've had this tea (English Tea Stores brand) and the Teavana brand Gyokuro. I'd say both are excellent teas. The Teavana brand is definitely a higher grade tea. This can mostly be discerned from the slightly more illustrious flavor that the Teavana Gyokuro provides. Additionally, the English Tea Stores brand tends to be less forgiving of improper brewing temperature - it gets bitter easier. I noticed that the English Tea Stores brand tended to be a little drier and more brittle. Teavana gets the tea into your hands while the leaves are still *moist* and in whole strips. The English Tea Stores Gyokuro was starting to crumble and you will end up with more sediment in your tea.
Once we started brewing the English Tea Stores brand ... full review
My wife bought this little steam inhaler for me a few years back because she thought it might help relieve my headaches after I noticed that a long, hot shower would bring me pain relief. A real miracle in my opinion! I don't know what kind of headaches I get (sinus? maybe) but whenever they're bad, I use this little guy, and I would say 95% of the time, within 20 minutes of inhaling the steam, the headache is GONE. I can't say this will work for your headaches, but it has for me and it lets me start functioning again. Just be careful when you first use it - you need to adjust the opening for the right amount of steam and gauge how close you get to the facepiece so you don't burn yourself, because the water is literally boiling. I'm ordering another ... full review
This is a replacement for a press I had bought used from a unknown brand, and I could not get repaired when the heating element went. I am hoping that with Singer and a service network, that will not be a problem...and the other lasted 10 years anyway.
It takes a little getting used to, and smart use of the dryer, to get the most out of the press. I take linen tablecloths out a little damp, do all around the edges first, then fold in 1/2 and press double. I also use a spray bottle with water, never use the steam. That never has worked well for me. Napkins are a dream!
Pants: Do 1/2 a leg at a time, length wise, missing the seam. For a perfect job around the pocket, I use the regular iron and ironing board.
