"Bail Bonding at it's best." - By Humming bird (United States)
I just love this show. I have been a long time Dog fan. I really like how the whole family works together. My favorite thing is that no matter who Dog and his family capture he tries to help them turn their life around before they are put behind bars.
This is by far the best coffee I've ever tasted. I drink coffee black so I'm a comparison shopper for gourmet beans. While it is expensive, you can taste the difference. It definitely has a woodsy flavor with no aftertaste. It's pure.
Although I wouldn't drink it every day - it's an awesome treat and highly recommended for those that can appreciate it.
I bought the silk pajamas as an anniversary gift for my husband. The pajamas arrived in a beautiful gold box as if it was wrapped like a gift. I did not have to wrap, as it was so beautiful. This company made the gift seemed so special. Unfortunately, the pajamas were too big so I returned them for a smaller size. I went through the channels for exchanging them and followed the instructions. The company was very responsive and I received the replacement pajamas very quickly. I will definitely do business with this company again and I highly recommend their pajamas. My husband loves them and says they feel very comfortable.
Plum Island Soap Company is very easy to work with. My husband received the Man Can as a gift. He really loved the can and all the goodies, however I was alergic to the fragance (although 100% natural). The company worked out a great return for him and he got some wonderful unsented items, that we both can use. We are very pleased.
*The Know-It-All* is the alphabetically ordered diary of A. J. Jacobs, a Jewish New Yorker in his mid-thirties who has decided to spend five hours a day for about a year reading the 2002 edition of the Encyclopaedia Britannica, all 33,000 pages, 65,000 articles and 44 million words of it. His aim : humbly to become the smartest man in the world or, as he more honestly admits, to « get some fun facts, have something to say at cocktail parties, increase my quirkiness factor, maybe learn a little about the nature of information » (p361.)
Raised on MTV and E !, sitcoms and celebrity biographies, and working as editor for a trendy magazine for men, Jacobs seems to approach his 32 volumes with an enthusiasm for breadth (if you arrange them on a bookshelf) or height (if you pile them up), but none for depth, except for the ... full review
"Great Overall Gauge At A Good Price" - By G. Bailor (Portland, OR)
I highly recommend the Omron fat loss monitor for anybody who is serious about monitoring their body fat.
Why I Recommend It:
1. EASY to use. It's almost dummy-proof
2. Inexpensive. For less than $26 you can have it delivered (Super-Saver shipping) including batteries.
3. I don't need help to use it. I don't know of any other method that you can do in the privacy of your home each and every day with the exception of calipers. And you need somebody else to use the calipers on you. Since they're only accurate if that person knows what he/she is doing and measures you in the exact same place each time, I think it's just easy to get a monitor.
4. Quick. I can take a measurement in about 10 seconds.
"Great addition, but needed more polish" - By Brian Long (Ogden, UT USA)
Assassins Creed 3 manages to live up to the hype of its runup, provided you are willing to overlook a bit too much cutscening, way too labyrinthian tutorials, and a large portion of graphical glitches. While I applaud the attempt of Ubi to push the envelope, their flagship title probably isn't where they want to do the first breakout of the "new and improved" Anvil engine.
Graphics (5-10/10): Graphics of the environments are simply stunning. Water flows like water on the sea, clouds and landscapes are pristine and crsip, and fog flows naturally and blocks just the right amount of vision. Trees and buildings feel natural and organic, and nothing is left feeling out of place.
People graphics are... very unsettling. The eyes especially always look like polished stones because of a persistent reflective effect. Clothes and weapons go through objects and people rag doll way too much ... full review
"The best single line phone design ever" - By M. Anderson (Santa Ana, CA United States)
I've loved the trimline phone ever since I got my first phone more than 20 years ago. Then, the trimline was a real, Bell System, telephone. Although this phone is clearly not the same as the real Bell trimline phones, it still has the great, comfortable design and the dialpad in the handset, which makes it an excellent choice. I've compared several other trimline phones and this is the closest phone I could find to the original Bell phones.
Northwestern Bell also makes a trimline phone, but the quality and comfort are nowhere near this AT&T version.
If you read the other reviews, you will see that at least one review (dated November of 2004) says that this phone was discontinued. Yet, here we are in late November 2004, and its still around. I'm guessing (could be wrong here) that this phone will ... full review
A high quality SOG knife. This is the only knife that I carry this knife on me 24/7 (okay I put it on an end-stand when I sleep). It is very strong steel that sharpens really well. No nicks or chips in it yet.
The gauged wire stripper - it's not going to replace your daily wire stripper or anything. Yes it takes about 0.2 seconds to pull up and down on the lever that some have complained about for some reason; but I found just the positioning of it and the size of the knife making it a little akward to get it into very tight spaces to strip a wire. This is by no fault of design, nothing they could've done there. In fact I use it all the time, whenever I need a stripper and for some reason I don't have my main one on me ... full review
