"Best Inexpensive Hotspot" - By John Skeene (New York City)
I was sent the original USB stick from Clear a couple of years ago. But recenly I lost it. I called Clear Wireless to request another device. She suggested to try the Mobile Hotspot for all my internet connected devices. At the time I only needed it for my laptop. So, I tried it, entered the supplied code and got it to work. No problem, and the good factor was it did not need to be plugged in the laptop USB ports at all. I could carry it in a pocket, purse or jacket. So then I purchased a Tablet and it really came in handy since there were no USB ports on the tablet. So, I put the Clear Voyager Hotspot in my pocket and I can use the Tablet anywhere except most the NYC subway tunnels.(they are working on that to give cummuters Wi-Fi in the subway) The ... full review
Device is good, but I was not sure how to use it and when received , called to provider and found out, that I needed to pay extra for service. It did not work for me. Was my fault and I paid for shipping back to seller.
"Must have for travelers and first responders" - By catracha
My first impression of the Ravpower was that it was compact well built and had a durable finish. It met my expectations of charging my iPod and iPhone in a reasonable time. The iPhone on empty charged in less than one hour and my iPod in less than 30 minutes. It still had additional power for charging or running the flashlight.
The functionality is fool proof with only one button to operate. Press the button once and the power indicator lights up in blue light which enabled me to use in total darkness. Press and hold the button and the LED flashlight is activated. The delay feature will ensure that the flashlight will not be turned on while being bounced around in a storage bag or compartment. The brightness of the LED flashlight was very good and compared to some law enforcement ... full review

"Large Capacity, Multi-Capable, Charges My Samsung 10.1 Tablet Too!" - By K. Groh (Pennsylvania)
I have to say that one of my favorite power banks is [[ASIN:B0084Y47SK RAVPower® 2600mAh External Battery Pack Lipstick Charger / Portable Power Bank with Flashlight, Fit for iPhone 5, iPhone 4 4s 3Gs 3G, iPod Touch(Lightning Cable not Provided); Samsung Galaxy S4, S3 i9300 S2 i9100, Galaxy Nexus,Galaxy Note 2; HTC Sensati...]]. I use it all the time as a quick back-up and a flashlight for walking in the early morning or late at night.
So I was pleased to be able to try out another RAVPower product. This powerbank (the 14,000mAh) is solid and offers a lot of charging possibilities. It comes with the powerbank, two USB coiled cables, a micro USB, mini USB, iPod/iPhone, Samsung Galaxy and what I think is the Nokia DC 2.0 connector. It also has a velvety drawstring bag to keep everything together.
I had some problems with the wall charger and wrote a review here giving the product 2 stars. However, within a hour of posting the review, the company manufacturing this product emailed me directly to resolve the issue. Ironically, a few days after buying it, I got a call at work asking how I liked the product and if there were any issues -- and asked if I'd write a review once I used it.
A replacement has been overnighted for the wall charger -- to charge the battery used to charge my devices. I have to say, this is some of the best customer service I've seen for a product that cost $35! I will gladly buy from them again.
As for the battery? I go for 50 to 100 mile bicycle rides and use GPS and a bluetooth heart monitor. ... full review

"Awesome 3G router ... go get it" - By Cordless4Ever (South Florida)
I got European version and simple it is a rock solid with external antenna in case your signal sucks.
Pros: - Simple to setup provided you have some basic knowledge about 3G/routers - Signal meter in dB that proves to be a lifesaver when hooking up external antenna and trying to get signal in unknown land during your vacation - stable connection, no glitches so far - g WiFi is really good and has good penetration through concrete slabs especially if it is placed on upper floors - excellent 3G through output given that you have at least 1 bar and provider provides juice (European 3G providers are 10 years ahead of AT&T in US). I get constant 3 Mbits download and 350 kbits upload in Europe even at 1-2bars. - LED screen is actually useful with two buttons beneath it to connect/disconnect and power up/down router. I've been using the Freedompop photon 4G hotspot for about a month and a half. I live in New York City and for the past year I'd been researching alternatives to my $95+ monthly phone bill from AT&T. I live in one of the most WIFI saturated cities on the planet and was fed up with paying a redundant charge for voice and data, two things that I could use over the internet. After much research I found Freedompop. The photon took a few weeks to arrive as they were still Beta testing. Hurricane Sandy arrived a few days after the photon and when the internet went out, I used the photon with perfect uninterrupted service. Since then, I've done the following things. 1) I paid AT&T a lump sum to get out of my contract with them, also had my iphone 4 unlocked ... full review
I bought this device for use in a 2012 Chevy Impala. Combined with the Torque Pro app (which comes with the device), it provides a LOT of info about your car. This device also supports the "allow faster communication" settign in Torque Pro which provides faster data updates (not sure if less expensive devices support that or not). I love how small the deivce is that it is black, so that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb (like some of the blue-colored devices would). The power switch is another great feature - I just leave the device connected all of the time and simply power it on when I want to use it. I really can't say enough good things about the deivce. For $20, you have a very functional code reader as well as a way to monitor real-time engine data. ... full review
"iPad made easy" - By Andrea Polk (Pacific Northwest - USA)
I purchased this book along with an iPad 3 for my mother - an iPad novice.
The book provides simple instruction on how to set-up the iPad (and with this version of the book the iPad mini), syncing it with iTunes, shopping the iTunes Store, reading books on your iPad, organizing the homescreen on your iPad, emailing with your iPad, creating and sharing videos, interacting with your iPad using things like FaceTime, troubleshooting and much, much more.
Well laid out and written in a laid back style, it's not a book that intimidates the reader, but rather one that seems like an old friend showing you the ropes with a lot of encouragement as to how easy it really is to use it. It's a great book to read from cover to cover when you get your iPad, and one you'll reach for as an easy reference ... full review
