Couldn't believe the radio stations this thing pulled in as soon as it was powered up. I live in rural midwest and stations are not very abundant but it works great. Installed in a 1995 Dodge Dakota and didn't expect a lot for the price but the sound is much better than factory without chaging speakers even. Very Happy
I almost bought this from another retailer but decided to go with Amazon since their customer service is so good. I'm glad I did. The first winch didn't work. Amazon sent another winch overnight had UPS pick up the broken winch. I love Amazon.
"A Woman's Perspective: Very Well Worth It" - By Just Sayin' 2012 (Annapolis, MD)
Changed it to 5 stars after many months. It's worth it!
Warning: This is a woman's review! You guys will think I'm ridiculous.
In a nutshell: This is my second Allen bike rack and I've been very pleased. I read all the reviews before purchasing--the first review you see is spot on--and the racks have been great and much less expensive than many others I've seen advertised. They have lived up to every positive review I have read.
Recently I went through quite a process to figure out whether I should get a hitch on my new RAV4 or just do this bike rack thing on the spare tire. I decided I did not want to deal with screwing things onto the spare tire, and--most importantly--the spare tire cover is very pretty and I didn't want to mess that up. (I told you--it's ... full review
"Maintains most of the Dead Space feel" - By BBestvin
In a year where trilogies have been the norm rather than the exception, Dead Space 3 wasnít necessarily greeted with open arms. Adding co-op to the campaign and even including human enemies, many fans were immediately turned off. Before you play the game, you may want to consider how these changes have affected the franchise.
Graphics Everyone knows Iím not that obsessive when it comes to graphics. I enjoy a good looking game, but as long as itís not glitchy or super ugly, gameplay is often the redeeming factor for me. So with Dead Space 3, I canít really say if itís an improvement over Dead Space 2. There are some nice effects here and there and a brighter color palette in places, but it basically looks like just its predecessors, which isnít a bad thing. I never had many problems with graphical ... full review
"A solid collection of extras & beautiful transfers on this set" - By Cubist (United States)
The first disc features an audio commentary on "Man of Science, Man of Faith" by executive producers Damon Lindelof, Carlton Cuse, Bryan Burk and Jack Bender (who also directed the episode). They talk about the story decisions they had to make: dedicating this episode to the hatch and the next one to what happened on the raft instead of trying to juggle both in the same episode.
The third disc features a commentary on "What Kate Did" by director Paul Edwards, director of photography Michael Bonvillain and actress Evangeline Lilly. She keeps the track lighthearted as she jokes with Edwards. They offer mostly trivial factoids (like how she learned to ride a motorcycle for this episode) and talk about how this episode ran too long and had to be cut down.
Also included is a commentary on "The 23rd Psalm" by Lindelof, Cuse and Burk. They wanted to ... full review
"Perfect bike rack for a big family" - By Diane McDonald (Spokane, WA)
This is a great bike rack if you have a big family. We had it on the back of a 30' RV with all 5 bikes on it for 2 weeks and traveled almost 3,000 miles and it held up perfectly under that very rough ride! Easy to attach the rack to the vehicle and also easy to secure the bikes to the rack. Would recommend to anyone who needs to haul a lot of bikes.
"Best mounting tape ever." - By A. Zaman (State College, PA)
This is easily the best mounting tape that I've ever used. I've tried a lot of different types of mounting tape, for a lot of different applications. This is easily the best one that I've found.
Recently, I used it to secure a couple of external computer fans (made of plastic) to the interior of a computer cabinet on a wooden desk. It's held up well for a few weeks now, even with the temperatures inside the cabinet being relatively high and the fans being on (and therefore vibrating) for about 12-14 hours a day. I also used it to secure a power strip to the back of a wooden desk (it would take too long to explain why I needed to do that...but this tape worked well for that too).
I only have had to remove the tape one time when I changed my mind about the ... full review

"Excellent winch for a full-size truck or SUV" - By Wanderer (Who cares where I live?)
I use this winch for my full-size Bronco and I have family with the same one on their Bronco. This winch is outstanding both in terms of build quality and brute strength. Don't settle for the 8000-lb model if you have a truck or SUV, get one of these and never look back in regret. You need a lot more pulling power than the weight of your truck once you get stuck, and if you have a 6,000-lb truck and an 8,000-lb winch, you could still be in trouble. When that happens, you'll wish you'd stepped up to the 12,000-lb model for the extra pulling power. Besides that, having extra power and stronger internals means less wear and tear so this winch is going to last you a lot longer than lower rated (8,000-lbs) models.
If you can pony up the extra money and you have the room, definitely ... full review
My experience was good. Ordered these a few months ago to fix my grandparents 04 impala. I just got back home to put them in so I couldn't rate them earlier. I did proper research before I attempted to fix this an I knew about the soldering before hand. Just pop out a bottom panel held only by clips, mid panel held by 2 screws/ clips, main dash panel held by I think 5 screws/ clips 1 screw in each fuse box and 1 by the steering column and 2 facing up above gauges. Be careful if it feels like a clip should have let go with as much prying you're doing you may have missed a screw. Cluster it's self is held in by 4 screws. -TIP***** remove your ignition key from your keychain, set parking brake, turn your steering column all the way down and drop your shift ... full review
"Has real potential, but a pain in some ways" - By Darcy B. (Carnation, WA United States)
This unit is currently unique in the marketplace in dealing with the need for both a handsfree kit and a way to add music sources to your car stereo system. It's not for everyone - if your car stereo already has support for an iPod, for instance, this may be overkill - but for my no-aux-jack car it's great.
The pros: * The sound quality for making phone calls is better than any handsfree kit I've encountered, both listening in the car and through the microphone to the other end. Better, in fact, than most Bluetooth headsets - which is saying a lot for a car kit. * It's terrific to be able to play my iPod in my Ford Escape Hybrid without using an FM transmitter. The sound quality is fantastic, and it even charges the thing! * The screen is great; bright, easy-to-read, and displays the relevant ... full review
