What are your favorite books about World War II for children or adults?

I can't speak for childrens books regarding WWII however, if you are an adult and know nothing of WWII (or very little) and are interested in learning I would recommend the following:
The Second World War by John Keegan
Duel Of Eagles by Peter Townsend
D-Day: The Battle For Normandy by Antony Beevor
Citizen Soldiers by Stephen Ambrose
Stalingrad by Antony Beevor
Day Of Infamy by Walter Lord
Masters Of The Air by Donald L. Miller
Alamo In The Ardennes by John C. McManus
The Avengers: A Jewish War Story by Rich Cohen
A Bridge Too Far by Cornelius Ryan
One Square Mile Of Hell: The Battle For Tarawa by John Wukovitz
Pacific Alamo: The Battle For Wake Island by John Wukovitz
Anzio by LLoyd Clark
Tears In The Darkness by Michael & Elizabeth Norman
The Battle Of Midway by Craig L. Symonds
The Rape Of nanking by Iris Chang
With The Old Breed by Eugene Sledge
God Isn't Here by Richard E. Overton
Band Of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose
An Army At Dawn By Rick Atkinson
Survival In Auschwitz by Primo Levi
The Day Of Battle by Rick Atkinson
Fatal Crossroads: The Untold story Of The Malmedy Massacre At The Battle Of The Bule by Danny S. Parker
Well, that should get you started.

Thank you, Dr. Galvin. Since all the books I have written are about World War II, I was familiar with many of the books on your list, but not all. Now I have a few more to look up!
