I love Nicholas Sparks books and style of writing, but would love to find another author that is a lot like him to keep me with a new book until his new ones come out. Does anyone know of an author like him or even just a book or two thats like his books?

I also love Nicholas Sparks and read all of his books, then began looking for another similar author. Our librarian suggested Richard Paul Evans and she was right! Now I wait every year for each one to come out with their newest novel.

I love Richard Paul Evans just as much as I like Nicholas Sparks. His characters are real, and I love the way he presents them. His books are comfortable for me, and I always look forward to the next one. My favorite? All of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You might want to try Luanne Rice.

James Patterson strayed from his normal and wrote two romance novels, titled "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" and "Sam's Letters to Jennifer." I am a huge Nicholas Sparks fan and these two were similar in story type and writing style. They were both wonderful books and would probably be enjoyed by anyone who like Nicholas Sparks.

Michael Baron (I think he may only be on Kindle, but I've read a couple of his books and he reminds me of Sparks)

I agree, I love Nicholas Sparks but I have read both of James Peterson's romance novels "Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas" & "Sam's Letters to Jennifer" and really enjoyed them too. LeAnn Rice is another great author that falls in line of writing good romance novels. With the three of them one should never be without a great book to read! Richard Paul Evans is wonderful too. I have read almost all of his books! A lot of wonderful writers...Thanks to all of them for giving us some wonderful books to enjoy!
