I loved this trilogy so much, I read it again right after I finished the 3rd! Anyone recommend another well developed erotic romance? I loved the strength of Ana, and I hate weak heroines.

One of my all time personal favorite authors is Judith McNaught, her books do not have the BDSM aspect. Rarely have I been so compelled to go back and re-read a book, but I was for Fifty Shades and just about all of Judith McNaught's books.

I am with P & P, loved the first book so much I bought the other two while I was reading the first, and then started all over again. The character development was excellent, the plot intricate but compelling, and well, as Ana would say-"hot".
Does anyone know if the author is/has written similar books?

No, I went on her website and these are her only 3 books so far.

Ladies, I'm in absolute agreement. I'm a fan of the genre, but can honestly state that I have yet to read a book/series that is this compelling. I too read all three all over again after finishing the first time. Looks like we're all on the same page in looking for another author that writes like this. I'm afraid I don't have anyone to recommend, but will be on the look out for suggestions.

Thanks everyone for your response. I, too, am on the lookout, but as was mentioned these stories were really compelling, honestly did not seem trashy to me, the context made sense with the narrative, as I might have also mentioned "hot"-but certainly not sleazy. If the women who read these have been called "porn moms", then I guess I'm a "porn grandma"!

Some of the other authors I've read and loved who have written great BDSM love stories are Joey Hill, Cherise Sinclair, Silvia Violet and Violet Summers.

Oh, and Diane Whiteside, Angela Knight and Changeling Press has a lot of good BDSM love stories as well. :-)

Did you see the article in the New York Times about this trilogy. It's so popular, the re-issue rights were sold for 7 figures.

Wow! Good for her. :-)

Cathy, I saw that story also in the Times. I am hoping the new publisher might want more sequels! I really would like to see how these character change, adopt, etc. as time goes on.

Amen. I've got all my friends reading this trilogy. She's definitely an intelligent writer. Hope to see more of her talent soon.

Love these stories.. I just finished the final book today, it left me feeling very depressed. I hope this author writes more about Christian and Ana.. Looking for similar novels also..

If you enjoy well written, evocative stories then check out Megan Hart. Hart doesn't do BDSM but James stlye is the closest I've seen to match Hart's. My favorite reads - Tempted, Broken , Collide
