Amazon is one tricky .com! Ever notice how many of their Gold Box Specials come out to $24.99, 1¢ short of the $25.00 needed for free shipping? Coincidence? - not a chance! They play every game imaginable, so pick your specials and general purchases carefully, make sure they are sold and fulfilled by Amazon, or you'll get an item that will be a nightmare to return if it's not right!

I've read your reviews, Chief, you're quite a miserable person, aren't you?

David, are you aware of the websites such as filleritem.com? You list how much money is required for Amazon free shipping and a list of Amazon products comes up that you can buy, often for pennies, and then throw away after you've received your package.

But you're still buying from Amazon. So who are you really sticking it to?

Maybe I'm just lucky so far, but I've never had a problem with having to wait when I click free shipping for purchases over 25 dollars. Even during the Christmas rush, things came in just a few days. I ordered a kindle on Thanksgiving and it arrived the next Monday. That's pretty good for not having prime.

I guess I never realized Amazon was forcing you to shop here.

Also, I dont understand your logic. So you withhold an order until your previous one arrives? So regardless Amazon will get your money, and in the end you are only delaying when you get the product and in a way therefore punishing yourself.

Wow. Somehow as I read your posts, I cant get the circus music out of my head...

I have an evidence based theory, Greg. It seems to me that this forum is populated by trolls who support the Amazon corporate point of view, although sometimes in a round about way. I could go on with details, but essentially anyone who criticizes Amazon will find their posts quickly buried by numerous, witless and pointless wordgames, the type that almost no one is interested in anywhere else on the internet. These games will exceed the 10,000 post limits, and then be restarted, again garnering thousands of posts within a very short time. I also have noticed that many of the trolls respond very harshly with personal attacks upon the Amazon's critics' intelligence or even sanity. Another interesting fact here is that the troll that accused you of having mental problems says he has checked your purchase history. It doesn't take a detective to see that something very strange is going on here.

"Amazon lets the order sit unshipped 5 days before mailing it." Since they are providing you free shipping they wait until they have a large enough number of packages directed to your geographic area to keep prices down. They could just do away with it entirely and tack on whatever charge is incurred.

"They think they're sticking it to me for not buying Prime", that sounds like buying a coach ticket and then complaining that the airline is punishing you for not paying for first class. You get the level you pay for, it's not punishing you, it's rewarding more elite class customers. Why do you feel so entitled to something you aren't willing to pay for?

A customer says:
maybe i am confused here Sgt Parker but i think you might be as well because i think it is you who is missing the point. from you reviews you spent about $125 on amazon the last year so lets say you didn't review everything you bought and you bought 4 times that much or $500. amazon net profits have been running about 1-2% for the last five years which means you have contributed somewhere between $5 and $10 to their coffers and call me silly but i don't think they care if that $7.50 comes all in one year or is spread out over 2 years becuase ya know the only real punishment is that which you are inflicting on yourself and the good people reading your flames.

I agree with you, Imma, you ARE confused

and i agree with you Sgt too. i'm confused even after all your explanations which weren't really explanations but more like whines, why you think you are hurting amazon or that amazon is punishing yourself because your an itty bitty wee little goldfish in the pacific ocean of shopping. how about a name change to Sgt Greg Nemo Parker LOL

Maybe they want you to bundle, My prime account has paid for itself over and over again. I had enough points to pay almost nothing for a new 10" tablet. Also If it isn't on prime I don't buy.
Why are you beating yourself up by trying to beat the system?

That is YMCA. He's been banned too many times to count over the last decade or so. This is how he spends his days: unemployed, and bullying random people online. Put s/he/it on ignore.
