She's a brave girl. I have been thinking about her and hoping she will be okay.

James C. says:
Malala is a 15 year old woman who was shot in the head by a Taliban a'hole for supporting education for women and enlightening the world of the lack of basic education for all children. She is campaigning for human rights.

Everyone should know who she is, not because she was shot in the head, but because of what she does and what she represents. Google Malala Yousafzai and you will find what you need to know. Share her name with all your family and friends. Keep her in your hearts and minds.

She deserves all the recognition she can get, and I will continue to bump this thread whenever I can, so Amazon members will know her.

If you pray, pray for her speedy recovery. If you don't, keep her in your thoughts.

Turn the tragedy of being shot into the recognition she so deeply deserves.

patriciae says:
she is a brave girl and we should all care when violence hits a child for expressing her views. Not caring is how we lose liberty to thugs.

Speaking of lack of grammar... WTF's with the, comma, after, some words, that, don't need a comma, and then, not leaving a space after the comma like most educated and some barely educated people do?
Plus, this obsession with the little Pakistani girl is a bit weird. How do you feel about the little girl in Omaha who was caught in the crossfire of gang violence and died? Where's the out-pouring of emotion for her? She could have been the next FLOTUS.

You've got a lot of work ahead of you Malala. See how many uneducated morons still exist in the world?

Did anyone see the emotional news conference that her father gave?
Keeping Malala in my thoughts and prayers...

The more people who know the name Malala Yousafzai, the better the world will be in the areas of human rights, education, and women's equality.

It will spread through people becoming aware, not through gunfire. Hopefully we will live in a world undivided by religious beliefs. One that everyone can say what they want and worship how they please.

Maybe you'll be one of the ignorant people she's fighting for that couldn't get a grammar school education.

In most other cases though the people aren't as proud to display their ignorance.

She's an incredible young woman who should not be ignored. But judging by your screen name, I guess I can see how you would.

And by responding you're only serving to bump this thread to the top. Thanks for that.

Phil says:
Don't pay any attention to her, much less respond to her, as she is the resident troll on GBF and has been banned several times already. If you feed her, she'll never go away. ;)

I couldn't tell of it was a he, she, or it. Just that most of the posts are either deleted or "Customers don't think this post ads to the discussion".

Hard to ignore when so few posts don't say that. I'm not a big GBF poster, but with power out from the storm I have limited amusement currently.

Phil says:
No, I can assure you that it is indeed a she (well, at least as close as one can get to being so, but failing poorly). Her sole amusement in life is to antagonize, insult and degrade just about EVERYONE on the GBF. Bottom line...don't feed it. ;)

P.S. Good luck with the aftermath of that terrible storm.
