Did anyone else order Halo 4 while it was a black friday deal? I thought it came with a 20 dollar Amazon credit and a 10 dollar video credit. The game has shipped but no credits are showing up. Not sure if I read it wrong or if I am missing some credits.
I had the same problem. Initially I had no credits, then after contacting customer service they gave me a $10 credit. I swear it said $20- but of course I can't find the lightening deal details anywhere on my purchase history.
The lightning deal was "Free $20 Amazon.com Gift Card and $10 Amazon Instant Video Credit with Halo 4."
I received an e-mail confirmation for my order, another e-mail with a "$10.00 credit good towards any eligible Amazon Instant Video purchase", and another e-mail for a "$7 promo credit good towards Major League Gaming's Game Battles Premium."
I'm still waiting for the Free $20 Amazon.com Gift Card.
I'm getting the run around from customer service on this as well. I know I ordered the lightning deal with a $20 Amazon gift card and a $10 instant video promo. I've received the $10 credit but I have yet to receive the $20 gift card. Customer service says my order was not eligible (even though I know it was) and Diane from live chat advises me to wait a couple more days. We'll see...
there was alot of bait and switch these past few days with amazon on their items. only thing save me on the $97 tv was the email that was sent out after I bought it at the $97 price and they billed me the original full price..

There was not one single bait & switch on Amazon.
You might have missed out, but it doesn't define a bait & switch. The phrase "bait & switch" means that Amazon didnt have any to begin with, advertised the item anyway, and then pressured you to buy something else. Fact is, Amazon had the items -- although they may have sold out in mere seconds, you were told they were limited numbers up front and there was no pressure to buy anything else.
I, too, got the $7 promo credit good towards Major League Gaming's Game Battles Premium which has absolutely no value to me and the $10.00 instant video credit. I am waiting for the $20 gift card as well. If I don't receive it within the 4 days as promised, I will be really dissatisfied with amazon, which is surprising because I've always been nothing but impressed with their deals and service.
The offer was definitely $10 instant video credit (which i received) and $20 Amazon gift card, of which there is no word. Hopefully it will arrive within a few days of the game; otherwise it is possible to return the game for the price Amazon charged my card. Very bad behavior on the part of Amazon that nowhere in my account or on my receipt does it give the details of the 'deal' I actually purchased.
This happened to me as well. I bought it during the lightning deal for a 59.95 with $20 Amazon gift card and $10 Instant Video Credit. I have now spoken to 4 different people who are all giving me the run around. Unreal that the aren't willing to meet the terms of the deal that all of us purchased!
I ordered and got an email that a $20 amazon gift card would be credited to my account. Well, I'm still waiting! That's the only reason I ordered it from amazon. I just bought a few more things last nite and still no $20 credit. I'll wait a couple more days then if I get fed up enough I'll return the game & buy it elsewhere!! I can't believe with all these complaints and inquiries amazon isn't responding to us!
I emailed customer service and got the following response.
I'm sorry for the delay in sending your $20 and $10 promotional credit for Halo 4. I can confirm you qualified for the promotion and verified from our Marketing team that you'll receive a promotional credit of $10 two days after the item has shipped.
For the $20 credit, you will receive it four days after the item is shipped.
We'll send you an e-mail confirmation.
If you haven't receive it after the said date has passes, please contact us again and we'll take immediate action.
A $20 gift card showed up in my account today. I don't know why this was so difficult for Amazon. All they had to do was tell me it was on the way. Instead, they led me to believe that I didn't know what I was talking about. Bad move Amazon.
