"James, you're a long-time valued customer, and we look forward to serving you for many more years to come. You've given us valuable feedback, and you can be rest assured it'll be provided to the appropriate teams."
Yep. That's definitely the blow-off letter. It works best on people with inflated self-esteem -- the same people who believe that waitresses and/or strippers are flirting with them because they're special.
It's so entertaining to watch as someone insists that they really are special.
I don't understand the point of this discussion. Are we suppose to be happy they didn't take you seriously? You mentioned they gave you substantial credits and are laughing to the bank, but then why would anyone care if you were unhappy and then Amazon fixed your issue? Isn't that a good thing? Why post that here? Your comments are made to put you in some elite club in which all of us are to drool over since you got Amazon's CEO assistant to call you back, which if you know the corporate world, would never happen. If you want to think of it that way, all of the customer service in India are Jeff's assistants...all under the same payroll helping the bottom line. Thanks for sharing...but move on. Thank you.
I don't understand the reason for this post. You say Amazon didn't think you were serious. You proved to them you were. Then you follow up with Amazon telling you how wonderful you are. Was the purpose of this thread yet another hope to get Amazon's attention? You state you will stop posting in this forum because it is immature, but you keep posting.
