I have all my packages delivered to my work because we are there during normal business hours. The On Trac drivers in my area know what time my shop is closes, so they will always save any packages from Amazon for the last run so there other deliveries will be on time. So with them knowing what time I close, they sometimes don't even atempt a delivery, I know this because I was waiting in store and of course they didn't show up.
My karma has nothing to do with it, I do donate money and time to multiple charities every year since I was 15(Salvation Army, Toys for tots, local food banks, and a few more). It's more of they have people that don't care working for them, our shop record with On Trac is roughly 8:1 ratio. For every 8 package shipped to us by prime, only one will show up within two days or the actual estimated ship date. We named them "On-Trac, but not On Time"
I guess you are lucky that you have someone that does care about their job. Our UPS and FedEx guys and girls are great, and we do know them by their names.
