I find myself log on to Amazon looking for deals in a daily basis sometimes 4 - 5 times. With Prime Membership I order things sometimes I don't really need. Some of the conversation between friends and relatives, i always brag on how I got a good deal with, you guess, AMAZON. Oh, did i mentioned the fabulous Iphone app? Do I have a problem and do I need help?
I really end up spending more than I need to; often. I do not have prime, so when I place an order I always make sure I spend $25 so I get free shipping. I am here several times every day to check on prices to see if I want to order something I have been watching. I keep at least 40+ items in my cart.
I think the prime membership has to do with shipping, i.e., you get shipping expedited shipping discounts and/or free shipping on certain items or from specific sellers. Amazon prime gives you a free trial membership which they hope you re-new. If you order often rather than shop in stores, it pays off, you save gasoline, possible collisions while travelling, time, and if you shop for out-of-state relatives, you don't pay as much for shipping. Whereas, if you went to a store and shopped, you would box the item to be sent (time spent), mail it (money spent upon shipping) etc. It is practical and efficient.
You guys are pathetic. I go on Amazon while I brush my teeth, after I get out of the shower, at least 10 times a day while I'm at work, and many more times before bedtime. I am not an Amazon addict...LOL
Jag Fan, I'm the same way. I go to Amazon at least 6 times a day looking for good deals, but sadly there hasn't been a lot lately. I like to participate in the discussion forums also. I just started shopping with Amazon about 2 -3 months ago so I guess I'm just starting my addiction. I think the lightening deals during December got me hooked.
