I'll give you a tip: when you see it goes to 0:00, start clicking. I did, and I got the deal. Just click like mad.

How did you know where you were in the wait list?

Katie says:
The deal started at 12:19. Not that this makes it any better for you... But I didn't even watch the item, I just searched for "Brave" as soon as the clock hit 12:19. Whenever an item is claimed, the purchaser has 15 minutes to check out or they lose it, so you shouldn't be sitting and waiting for too long.

I was lucky enough to get in on this one. I too watched it tick down to zero and when the click to purchase button didn't come up right away, I reloaded the movies black friday page and it was there on page 2. I then clicked to buy, and it took several seconds to come back and tell me it was added to my cart with less than 15 minutes to check out.
Hopefully you joined the wait list, and someone will wait too long to checkout and it will be offered to you. I was able to get in on a couple deals this way yesterday, so good luck to you OP

How do you know where the wait list is? Or how do they notify you if you get the item?

Mr. A. Nash says:
how long do you sit in the waitlist?

Posted on Nov 22, 2012 12:48:59 PM PST
K Dawn, and Mr. Nash,

The "Join waitlist" button will show up in lieu of the add to cart button when an item is 100% taken, and a page will then tell you what place you are in the wait list line. Those people have 15 minutes to check out, or they lose the item. Then those who are on the waitlist get an opportunity to purchase on a first come, first server basis. A box will pop up by your cart link letting you know if is available to you if you get in on it.

You know what my favorite part of the holidays are?

People crying over missing what would obviously be a popular lightning deal like they got cheated. A-bloo bloo bloo.

I'd been waiting for Brave FOREVER. I don't know what the heck is going on, but this is nuts. I'm half tempted to just go to Walmart at 8pm tonight just to get it for the same price.

eshu says:
instead of waiting for it to change by its self, a couple of seconds before the deal is supposed to start press F5, this will cause your browser to reload the page and will almost always (Almost depending on your internet connection) be faster than waiting for the page to just refresh automatically for you.

if they only have 15 minutes how long does the waitlist last?

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 22, 2012 1:00:11 PM PST
Steve Gandy says:
I've been searching online for that and cannot find an answer. As I posted earlier, I can't leisurely veg in front of my computer for hours since I have to be at someone's house for Thanksgiving soon....

Steve Gandy says:
But how do you claim it? Do you have to be NOT on the wait list? So in other words, if you're on "wait list" it's like flying "stand by" hoping you get a seat on the plane while others apparently actually GOT the deal and have moved on with their lives?

Posted on Nov 22, 2012 1:03:59 PM PST
So, I'm on the waitlist now what?? I'm a little confused as I don't have a pop up to state what number I am or when and if I will get the movie? Anyone have any direction? I agree with all frustrations that have been stated thus far in the thread. I was pressing the button when it said 85% left. Still came up with nothing. UGH!!
