Please help me understand Black Friday pages on Amazon

So, I get this email from Amazon:
Black Friday Deals Week | Movies & TV Holiday Deals Calendar
When I click on the link, it takes me here:

On that page, there's a list of all deals in the "Movies & TV" section. The days and times are mentioned.

However, when I try to search for a similar page for "Kitchen", I can't see the list of all deals; no times, no days, zilch. I'm also looking for deals in the "Photography" (cameras and lenses) section, and I see the same issue there. No dates/days/times.

What am I missing? Can some guru please help me out? Thank you:)

White Rabbit says:
Think, have you EVER seen a Holiday Deals hourly calendar for those departments before?

Ananth - Most likely the Movies, Video Games, Music and Software Deals referenced on these pages are in response to Black Friday deals that will be offered by other retailers. Since the pages from these other retailers have been released at places like Amazon can price match prior. I haven't gone searching to match with this years, but last year I noticed a lot of the movies offered in deals last year matched up to deals I had seen in ads.

Other deals may have restrictions that they can't advertise prior, have you ever noticed on electronics and applicances you can't see price until you place in cart sometimes. So its possible that they can't advertise these in the same way.

They do have a Kitchen, Home and Garden deals page: but not prerelease info calendar like movies page.

The general black Friday deals are here:

A customer says:
Forget it; there won't be any deals worth fretting over. If you happen to be near a computer and somehow get to the Amazon page, take a look. If you see something you need at a reasonable price, buy it. If not, go on to your favorite porn site and enjoy the moments.

No, I've NEVER seen a calendar like that provided by Amazon for any other dept. than Movies, Video Games, Music, and maybe books (not sure about books, don't see one this year). That's it, and that was my point.

Note I didn't include Software, even though one of the calendars has a link to it -- because it isn't the same thing. Neither are the links on the left side of the BF deals page -- they are NOT the same thing.

Nelson - I acknowledge the "trend" that you point out to.
Thank you for your response. I'll keep an eye out on the deals based on your response. Have a good one.
