I'm trying to find things made in the USA, but most Amazon listings don't say where things are made. I want to buy gifts for my family without supporting CHINA. I don't want to spend my money on supporting Communism and slave labor. Any suggestions?

So am I! I don't wish to purchase inferior products made in China. I am finding it difficult to find things made in the USA, but from now on, that's all I intend to buy. I hope buyers and manufacturers get the picture!

I hope Amazon will start listing the country of origin for their products. Anything made in China will be promptly returned.

Amazon usually DOES list the country of origin....just have to take the time to scroll down far enough to read the product details. If it isn't there, assume it isn't made in the USA. At least that way you wont burn up the ozone by promptly returning/shipping most of the things you purchase.

You can't assume it is made in USA. I've done that before and got stuck with Chinese stuff. I think I'm going to shop at Fat Brain Toys, because they have a feature for searching for American made things. I am sick and tired of cheap Chinese products.

One alternative, if you can't find things made in the usa, is to find things made in Western Europe. For example, Ravensberger puzzles and games. That's always been my second choice, for the same reasons you state. Another option is to get things that are handmade or personallized. Type in handmade in the searchbar, and select which department.

Many Melissa and Doug products are made in China. I bought my daughter a puzzle by them and found out it was made in China.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I wish Amazon had a check box for made in the USA. Maybe we should all submit some more feedback or maybe they will see this discussion and add it. I really like amazon, but wish some of the stuff was not made in china, but 90% of the stuff that I find is made in china or bangladesh or india. Frustrating!

Many little tikes products are made in the USA. On their website the have a tab with all made in USA products. I believe Green Toys and Plan toys are both made in USA. Consider shopping Etsy for adults and teens. Many Handmade or vintage, unique products and will tell where it is shipped from
