Why isn't it available?

I was wondering the same thing. I was comparing prices for the whole trilogy between the two different e-reader stores I use and can get the whole series for one price elsewhere. I'd rather have it on my Kindle but...

They took it down to make corrections about a month ago. They have an all-in-one trilogy version as well, but it has the same errors. Seems like a long time to have it down for such a cash cow.

My God, it's not like they have to reprint volumes! It's an electronic document for Pete's sake!

The Kindle edition Two Towers is available if I put my Australian postal address in, but I'm now wondering if that version requires the same corrections as the American one that was pulled down ...

Anyone heard anything on this? The publication year on the individual Kindle editions with a US address is 2009, whereas it's 2010 with an address in Oz, so I'm marginally hopeful.

There's also a full trilogy version available with my Australian address, but again, same concerns. I'm keen to pick up that version while the exchange rate is so good and it's only $10.99.

The US version was taken down in February of 2011. I've seen a UK version available in March, though I haven't gone looking for it since because I can't obtain it. I'm not sure why some countries have it while others don't, unless they're put forth by different publishers and don't contain the same errors.

It is still available for the nook in the US. The two towers has been missing for some time now with no explaination.
