Its really too bad that klezmer is not better known. As with any music a great performer will appeal to anyone even though an audience does not like the genre. You can hate country music but see Willie Nelson live and you will change your mind. Start with Itzak Perlman as he is well known. If you like his concerto works you will like his klezmer interpretations of really neat music
