From what I see on the internet, the Old Man's War Universe is going to be put on hold for the forseeable future. Is this true? Does anyone have any info on Scalzi's future plans for the series?

Sean says:
That is what I read as well. Scalzi said something to the effect of wanting to expand his repertoire of authorship beyond his "Old Man" series of books. Which would be cool, but the books he's written outside that series haven't exactly been great.

I thought Android's Dream was exceptionally good and it is outside the Perry/Sagan war universe
...Just my 2c

and Agent to the Stars was also quite an original take on first contact ... a fun summer weekend read

I just finished buying and reading Fuzzy Nation and I loved it. It is not your usual action/adventure novel, or your typical SciFi book, but it was great and made me laugh several times.

This is an old post, but if anyone is looking, The Human Division is book 5 of the OMW series. It is almost finished, on 11 out of 13 episodes.
