I've been wondering the same thing! (Turning the Spellman Files into a film.) I hope we get some feedback on this! The Spellman books are not only addictive, but also laugh-out-loud-funny!)

Right now there are no plans for film or TV, unfortunately. We'll keep trying!

Lisa herself! She actually reads these posts. I love the Spellmans, and I really hope you keep these coming. They are brilliant. I also liked Heads You Lose, in fact I will read anything you write.
I personally hope they do not make these into movies. They would wreck it. Izzy would be cast as.......Whoopi Goldberg. (1) Of course Mom and Dad Spellman would HAVE to be a gay partnership (2) so it would be two guys. They would probably turn Rae into somebody like.....Snooki, or maybe HoneyBooBoo (3)

1 Footnote: Goldberg sounds about right
2 Footnote this IS San Francisco after all
3 Footnote: they never get the casting right, do they?
