91% off, ROFL, thank you Amazon you made my morning. It's been a solid 2-3 days since the last junk watch deal, was beginning to suspect something was a miss. As for the watches, these garbage dump gems aren't worth $10 let alone $60 and the MSRP shot coffee out my nose... Chinese movement with a mineral crystal and pseudo-leather straps, it's the trifecta of "quality"!

I am so sick of deception from manufacturers. The strap is advertised as leather. Look closer at the description and you find it's synthetic leather. That's plastic in my book! I see the same B.S. in the Kindle fire covers for sale on Amazon.

Anyone else getting sick and tired of watches and jewelry being touted on the Gold Box Deals? I guess Amazon gets great margins on these items...seems like every other day that's the great bargain being offered.

I hate it when the shills show up this early. Three of the first five posts are nothing more than flowery peans to the best attributes of these trinkets. Enough already, let's hear something critical!

why do I need a watch? I have a cellphone if I need to know what time it is. I have facebook if I need to get in contact with someone and I have email in case I want to remember something I find online so I can email it to myself. what I REALLY NEED is a way to write something down on a piece of paper and send it to someone in an envelope and have them get it 3 days later.

I think Bangladeshi orphanages have higher standards, these might be considered as appropriate for their equivalent of Cracker Jack box prizes, but just barely.

Only 91% off?? Not much of a deal on Invicta watches here at Amazon. As it approaches the retailer's guilt ridden holiday of the year, expect discounts of 93-94% off.

I understand that one of the new hires in product evaluation suggested that these trinkets be moved through w00t! with free shipping and a price of -$10 but someone noticed that they were actually suggesting paying customers $10 each to take a watch. It was pointed out that they had a cheaper way of getting rid of them; just give them to the Viners. Another suggested that if they raised the list price it might appeal to the usual clientele who will buy most anything if the deal looks pretty enough.

While I am not saying these aren't junk, they always seem to sell out when on gold box deal..... I guess people criticize but then secretly buy them. I would rather pay the extra 50-100 for a dependable watch than these pieces of trash.

I bought a cheap Amitron watch when it was a Gold Box price. It was cheaper than anywhere else I saw it and I liked the look of it. I've only had it a few months, but so far I love it. I did have to make the band smaller which was not hard to do myself; it was just a matter of removing the spring that connected it to the watch. My husband and I have had watches that when on sale cost over $200.00. They have died when the warranty was over so I don't buy expensive anymore. My husband does abuse his watches but I don't. The cheaper ones last me just as long and sometimes longer than the expensive ones. I just bought my husband this one. I'll review it when he has it awhile.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Watches seem to be the single most frequently offered daily deal (except perhaps jewelry). I have not worn a watch for the past 20 years, so maybe that is why I find the frequent offers annoying!!! But still, with all the things available on Amazon it would seem they could find more variety to offer special deals on.

If you want to get your money's worth buying an Invicta, you are far better off with one of these for only a bit more than this gold-box junk. Invicta Men's 8926OB Pro Diver Collection Coin-Edge Automatic Watch. At the very least, it is a dependable Japanese automatic movement and a stainless steel bracelet. Yes, it is a replica/homage but will likely last longer and looks a lot better (granted, different style), as well. I have owned a few myself and they are a good "beater" or "tool" watch that will hold up. Also is very water resitant so a good vacation watch that you never need to take off (and if you do, if you lose it, it isn't the worst thing in the world). Search online and you will find even better deals.

Even better, please offer a more respected brand of watch as the GBDOD once in a while. I'd love to see a Citizen's Eco-Drive as a deal for once, or perhaps a Seiko Kinetic, Bulova, Hamilton, etc. Perhaps even one of the "good" Invictas I keep hearing about. Instead we get the endless parade of Invicta and Sturhling watches marked 90% off MSRP.

I bought this watch last November and after three weeks the strap broke. No recourse. I do not believe the company takes customer satisfaction seriously. Proceed accordingly.

only 14 hours left before you miss out on getting ripped off. This watch maybe worth $60 but Amazon should be ashamed of itself for claiming a $700 MSRP. Also for $60 you should get a leather band but you don't...

I am not so concerned with the msrp as those are often inflated, but the 'yesterday's price' that is posted seems way, way off to me and is of greater concern.
