The prices are about average for Crucial products. Most Crucial products are good solid performers and always worth a look. I have never been disappointed with quality and own a lot of them. If you have an immediate need you will be OK at these prices. If you have a little time a better Gold Box price will pop up.

I disagree Glenn Cox. At least with the price of the 64 GB 3.0 Flash Drive. I bought a 32 GB from Amazon not too long ago for about $35 bucks and this 64 GB is now $34. That is a great price and if anyone wants a faster backup of data onto a flash drive (ie pictures, music and other files) I would strongly suggest getting this today. I agree with the quality I have had no issues with my Lexar products. I am also unsure about the price points of the other products.

I disagree with you Baatar! The price of this type stuff drops all the time. If you look around at Frys and New Egg you can get great deals now and then. BUT all of it revolves around dropping prices at the manufaturer level. Better and worse prices are always available but these are about average at this moment.

This falls in a "you get what you pay for" approach. These cheap ones are poor performers. I don't know about everyone else, but with capacity this high, I don't want to be waiting all day on this thing to copy stuff from my computer. Sure capacity is important, but speed is too, and you get what you pay for.

This is a great price on the Lexar 64 GB 3.0 Flash Drive.
For the Crucial products this is a good price, and possibly lowest it has ever been on amazon. It's a good price to buy at if you need one, if you're shopping for a good deal though there is a very good chance the price will drop again.

@ShadowFalls: My first question to you would be: Do you own any of the Crucial products? If so, what has your experience been thus far? If not, why are you criticizing a product such as this?
I, for one, DO own the 256GB SSD drive. I can tell you with certainty that the reliability rate on this product is extremely HIGH. The MTBF rate on this is over 1 million HOURS. Check websites such as NewEgg, TigerDirect, or Amazon to read the reviews that others have posted about their products.
The adage: You get what you pay for certainly prevails HOWEVER, the prices of the SSD drives have been coming down. That is a GOOD thing for consumers! SSD drives are MORE reliable than your normal 5400 RPM and 7200 RPM drives. Additionally, why do you think so many users are using this drive for boot ups? It's because it is MUCH faster than the normal HDD drive.
