Due to high demand, the Bond 50 collection has sold out, but we have another great deal for you today. For 73% off, enjoy a collection of seven of Marilyn Monroe's best and most popular films, presented on Blu-ray, the perfect format to showcase Marilyn's flawless beauty.
This is another pretty good deal. Anyone with a Costco membership, most have this for 24.99, but you'll be paying tax in store. Much easier to just order from amazon and save yourself the drive!

All you had to do was stay up until midnight or wake up by 8:30 to get it. I woke up at 3 AM to jump on this deal, so I have no sympathy for complainers!

Didn't the sale start at midnight, your time? And wasn't it on sale until around 9 AM, Pacific? I didn't realize people on the West Coast needed 23 hours of sleep per night. Not to mention, it's Saturday, so you were most likely not working in the morning. I stayed up until 2 AM to see what the sale was. People on the East Coast stayed up until 3 AM. There are reasons to whine, but this isn't one of them.
And what's wrong with Marilyn, anyway?

Just give me Mr. Jones, and I can worry less about checking here too often. BTW, got the Bond set. Thanks Amazon. My only purchase this Thanksgiving weekend.

Nice deal on the Marilyn Monroe collection of seven movies, considering that just one movie, Gentleman Prefer Blondes on Blu-ray is $16.99.
Also note that the item description on the aspect ratio is wrong. All movies are shown as originally shot.
1.37:1 ('Gentlemen Prefer Blondes') 1.66:1 ('Some Like It Hot,' 'The Misfits') 2.55:1 ('How to Marry a Millionaire,' 'River of No Return,' 'There's No Business Like Show Business,' 'The Seven Year Itch')
How did we get the short end? I received the Amazon email alerting me about Bond at 1:08 am where I then bought one for a Christmas present for my dad. Ppl in the east coast must have gotten the email at 4 - I think the west coast had the better advantage.

Not to mention that most customers who bought had the item in their cart before the announcement - they realized that the item dropped to 99 at midnight and started buying them.

Very true. I am always happy when an item sells out because unlike most people, I am diligent enough to buy early if I want it and ready for the next after a short while.
