Today only, get a Samsung Series 9 premium Ultrabook for $300 off. This slim 13.3-inch Ultrabook is powered by a 1.4 GHz Intel Core i5-2537M processor, providing the best in portability, style, and power.
One of the finest GBDs in many moons. Designed to make your Windows Eight experience most pleasurable. Providing you with two, not one, but two USB ports for you to use as you wish. While it does not have a built in CD/DVD drive, there are really not many programs you would run on this laptop so you won't miss that drive. With its perky 1.4 GHz you will spend a lot more time experiencing those programs that you run on this cute little computer. It has a SSD so you will be able to get right into your Windows Eight experience designed for touch screen displays, you will keep this laptop screen spotless as it does not support touch-me technology. Note that it does have a full size, masterfully designed SD card slot. I cannot conceive of any reason to not purchase this deal.

@GLN I will probably stop post like the original one when fellow posters stop giving me such interesting feedback and bringing attention to my posts. Thank you for being so generous with your time to read and reflect on my comments. So, you don't think this is such a great deal? It is true that there are many laptops here on ^A^ or at HP, Dell and Lenovo that at this price are much better in performance and usability. But none of them are nearly so cute, just a darling laptop, don't you think?

I was thinking the same thing. For the same amount of money, you can do alot better. And Windows 8? Well, the verdict is still out on that one. If this laptop were priced at 350. I might go for it but 700? Really? For a second gen i5?

@GLN So, why do you continue to read my posts? Like a moth to a flame... So, tell us, how do you really feel about this toy laptop? Is it worth all that much coins of the realm,?

@GLN Interesting article. By implication, today's deal is an attempt to dump these remaining netbooks at an illogically high price on the unsuspecting buyers who frequent the daily GBD. Do you agree?

>> GLN says: I personally love netbooks but the consumer apparently is backing off on them <<
Your link is accurate and Netbooks are a dying breed (which just makes sense, what with tablets now filling that light weight portability demand, and some even out performing Netbooks.)
However, keep in mind that this Ultrabook is NOT a netbook... (usually indicated by a 10-inch or smaller screen, lower reduced specs, and lower performance). The Ultrabook is in the notebook class, based on size, specs, and performance.

Seems very portable but not very versatile. Only 128 gig SSD, and only 2 USB ports, and if you have to plug into ethernet or a vga port, one of those usb ports is taken up already (since the VGA and the Ethernet require dongles)
Obviously Billa's review was being ironic, or damning with faint praise (enjoy your programs for a longer time because the processor is so slow lol )
