Invicta is a what I like to call a fake luxury brand, over inflated list prices are a joke. Be aware of their F rating from BBB too

Would be nice to see Citizens, Seiko once in a while. But even Timex and Casio are high end watches compared to Invicta garbage. Then again, Bezos didn't become a billionaire by selling everything at cost.

Stuhrling and Invicta watches are the ones that amazon desperately tries to push down your throat but I think there are several good ones today--including a Skagen watch--that might be worth to look out for.

This might not be the ultimate brand for long-lasting timepieces, but we're looking at $40 here! I picked one up as a fashion accessory to work with my dressed-down casual summer outfits. Having 4 bands means never needing to worry about color coordination as it'll go with pretty much everything. Anyway, look at it like that and hopefully you'll see the light... For quality timepieces, I fully recommend Omegas! (Just don't complain about them being 100x more expensive than this one :))

What a classy accessory this is... nothing says fashion like a $2 watch with a nylon strap! I got suckered into buying an Invicta "dive" watch that got completely ruined brand new in the backyard pool, quality stuff here, right in the trash bin. Save your hard earned $$$ for companies that deserve it!

Comparing this to an Omega is like comparing my Toyota to a Bentley... ;-)

The four bands might be worth more than the watch. If you want to look good, but don't care what time it is, this deal is for you.

Take comfort in that if you want one, they're not likely to be Sold Out before the deal ends.

There is a Skagan watch coming up in Lightning Deals.

Stuhrling and Invicta watches are not all bad. Just most of them. If you've lived long enough, you'll remember the $15 watch craze of the sixties. This is the 21st century version.

Funny you said that. I still have my Timex 'Automatic' that was purchased in the 60's. But i paid $17, guess i paid too much. It still works, but i have rarely used/wore it, hence why it still works.

Talk about a "fake luxury brand"? What about the "Gold Box" GV2 by Gevril Men's Fiamme Square Watch ($1,895- list?). Gevril claims to have a legacy from 1758. Not true - more like 2002 when an American salesman named Samuel Friedman bought the Gevril name. The watches are tacky and far too American for any serious watch collector to take seriously, not to mention dramatically overpriced

That's actually a good comparison. But you know what, if you can't afford a Bentley there's not a thing wrong with a Toyota.

Invictas are a good value for the price. There can be some quality control issues that you wouldn't expect to find with more expensive brands, but those are the kinds of compromises most have to make in the real world. Put the thousands you'll save over a Tag or Omega toward your kid's college fund.

For those considering this deal/brand, just wanted to provide an fyi-
I looked into the Invicta brand due to another online company's sale on them- and from my research- I certainly lost any interest (esp. due to their reported poor reliability, and extremely bad customer service). Quite a few individuals report sending their watches in for the inevitable failure, with or without a "warranty", to only find the company requiring additional money for repairs that never get done. Here is the BBB link, but also Google the brand too...

D. Bunker says:
@Greg

Invicta's customer service is notoriously bad. It is the reason for their F rating w/BBB, and is almost entirely due to their poor warranty terms. They charge $25 (last I knew) for warranty service plus customer pays shipping both ways. In addition, it can take several weeks to receive your watch back. Having said that, it is NOT inevitable that your watch will need early repairs. I don't know about the models being offered here, but I have worn the 8926 model as an everyday watch for 3 years and it still looks near new and functions fine. I have another model that I wear less frequently that has also performed flawlessly. If your watch fails in the first month you can return it to Amazon. In the unlikely event that it fails after that then count yourself unlucky, throw it away, and buy another.

what D. Bunker said. My experience as well. I think Invicta's warranty policy is designed to discourage customers from even employing it when/if needed. However, the ones I have (a couple of automatics and quartz models) have provided decent service. Just don't "test" their ability to resist moisture...one might regret doing so!
It does make me wonder why they don't just say, "We are selling our product as-is, without warranty, so just take your chances, and we'll offer you a low price."
