On November 29, 2012, iFit attempted an "upgrade" to their website. Since this date most of the iFit functionality has been disabled. The iFit company is still selling their product but, it does not work. iFit is a highly unethical company which seems to despise their customers. Customer service is virtually nonexistent from iFit. Before they messed up their website, the iFit product was good. I have a Nordic Track version of this product and I run on it everyday but, iFit has ruined it. Go to Facebook and look at iFit and you will see many dissatisfied customers. I wish I could give it zero stars!

I hope no one is questioning the quality of these treadmills. Having three different models allows ^A^ to provide their less fortunate clientele the ability to exercise without having to place themselves at risk on the roads, alleys and paths of their city of choice. They are providing a low priced selection for the less well-off, a mid-selection for the middle class and a top-of-the-line pick for major players in our society. If these were being sold at half their stated prices you would immediately question their quality but paying $499, $699 or $899 tells any intelligent person these devices just reek of quality. It matters not what the specs, reviews or complaints from posters here, it is enough that it is being sold by ^A^ and at a price they think is equitable.

Fitness equipment like this is better purchased used. There's a ton of inventory out there, most of it in like-new condition, and heavily discounted. You can also try before you buy.

I went over to iFit's facebook page. OMG!!! The level of unhappiness and issues people are having with that service is staggering and all of the tracking, customization, workout information, etc etc etc are all powered by iFit. So it looks like if their crap is broken, and all indications are that it is, you get to do manual workouts. Is that really true? Without iFit is this treadmill useless?

Your treadmill will work just fine with or without ifit. Ifit is just a feature you can use if you'd like. I have a treadmill with ifit and I ran on it today. In fact I did the 8 mile run ifit workout of the day in Thailand today.

I also have a nordictrack with ifit. I did Ifits workout of the day today and had no problems. I agree with R. Darr that ifit did have some problems when they upgraded their site, but everything seems to be working just great for me.
