When you purchase using the Amazon Currency Converter:
We’ll automatically show you the payment total in your local currency on the order summary page.
You always have the option to pay in your local currency or in US Dollars.
You get a guaranteed exchange rate. This is the amount Amazon will charge your card. Also, you don’t have to worry about currency fluctuations on returns. We’ll use the original foreign exchange rate for your purchase.
If your 1-Click settings are enabled in Your Account, you can view the price of the item on the product detail page or the subtotal of the items in your Shopping Cart in your local currency. To update your 1-Click settings, go to Change Your 1-Click Settings.
The payment is converted from USD to your local currency by your bank or credit card company. In addition to the exchange rate, your bank or credit card company may charge you foreign conversion charges and fees, which may increase the overall cost of your purchase. Please contact your bank regarding these fees.
