Check the Status of Your Wireless Connection

If you are having trouble with shopping, downloading, or syncing content, check your Kindle for the status of the wireless connection.

From Home or any Settings screen, view the Wi-Fi indicators at the upper right corner of your Kindle.

: Your Kindle is connected to a Wi-Fi network and has a strong signal. The Wi-Fi symbol appears when in range of a trusted Wi-Fi network.
: Your Kindle is connected to a Wi-Fi network and has a weak signal.
: Your Kindle is momentarily not connected to a wireless network. You may see this when you first turn on your Kindle and it takes a few seconds to connect.
