Manage Orders

The Manage Orders tool provides a customizable view of all your orders on all sales channels. You can view all orders within a given date range or use Search and Advanced Search to filter on specific types of orders.

  • You must confirm shipment of the order with Amazon within 30 days of the order date. Otherwise, Amazon will automatically cancel the order and you will not be paid, even if you shipped the order. One week before the 30 day cutoff, you will see a warning in Manage Orders ("Confirm as shipped by [date] to avoid cancellation"), and you will receive a notification by email.
  • When you confirm shipment for even one item in an order, we charge the buyer for the entire order. If the entire order is not confirmed, you will see the "Shipment is late" status in Manage Orders and a warning message on your seller account home page. These will appear even if you have refunded the remaining items in the order.

Orders List

The Manage Orders tool displays your orders list in a table. From this list, you can access the details necessary to fulfill an order. You also can download an Order report. See Order Reports for more information.

The following table contains definitions for each column in the Manage Orders tool:

Field Description
Order Date The date and time the order was submitted. Click column header to sort by order date.
Order Details
  • Order ID: Links to Order Details page.
  • Product title
  • QTY: Quantity ordered
  • ASIN
  • SKU
  • Contact Buyer: Links to Contact Customer form.
  • Sales Channel
  • Fulfillment Method
  • Billing Country (U.S. only)
  • Confirm as shipped by [date] to avoid cancellation.
  • Status:
    For seller-fulfilled, Checkout by Amazon, and Amazon Webstore orders, status types include:
    • Unshipped
    • Pending
    • Shipped
    • Cancelled
    • Refund applied

    For Amazon-fulfilled (FBA) orders, status types include:
    • Pending
    • Payment Complete
    • Complete
    • Refund applied

    For Multi-Channel Fulfillment orders, status types include:
    • Unfulfillable
    • Planning
    • Shipping
    • Complete
    • Refund applied
Action This column displays the following actions that you can take on your orders:
  • Print packing slip
  • Confirm shipment
  • Buy shipping
  • Cancel order
  • Edit shipments
  • Refund order

Order Details

To view the Order Details page for a specific order, click the Order ID link in the Order Details column. From the Order Details page, you can:

  • Print an order packing slip: Click the button on the right side of the page.
  • Contact the buyer: Click the link in the Contact Buyer field to go to the Contact Customer page.
  • Enter your own order ID: Click "Edit" below the Amazon-issued Order ID.
  • View the product detail page on Click on the product name in the Product Details section.

Search and Filtering Options

By default, the orders list in Manage Orders displays all orders placed in the past seven days, including canceled orders. Canceled and Pending orders are "grayed out" (non-actionable). To change the default search, see Search Orders.

On the upper right side of the Manage Orders page, you will see three automatic searches:

  • Unshipped: All orders that have not been confirmed as shipped, regardless of whether the order is seller-fulfilled or Amazon-fulfilled (FBA). An order remains in Unshipped status until the seller confirms the order as shipped. You must confirm shipment within 30 days of the order date, or Amazon will cancel the order and you will not get paid, even if you shipped the order.
  • Seller fulfilled pending: Seller-fulfilled orders that may have an issue with the buyer's payment method. Do not ship an order while in Pending status. For more information, see Pending Orders.

For each of these searches, if the number is greater than zero, click the link to see all the orders that meet the search criteria.
