You can buy Kindle content and send it directly to Kindle for PC.

Shop the Kindle Store from your browser and deliver Kindle titles to your Kindle for Mac reading app.

1. From Kindle for Mac, click Shop in Kindle Store.
2. Sign in to the Kindle Store with the Amazon account you used when you registered your Kindle for Mac app. Learn more:Register Kindle for Mac
3. Browse for Kindle titles you want to read, and then select a title to view the product detail page.
4. Buy and send the Kindle title to your Mac:
   • From the Deliver to drop-down menu, select Kindle for Mac.
     Note: If you don't see Kindle for Mac, make sure you signed in with your Amazon account registered to Kindle for Mac.
   • Click Buy Now with 1-Click.
     Tip: Click Try a Sample to download the beginning of the book for free.

All of your Kindle books are stored in your Kindle Library and can be downloaded to your Kindle for Mac reading app from the Cloud (archive) or Manage Your Kindle on Amazon.com. Even if you remove content from your Kindle for Mac reading app, you can download it again from the Cloud to the same Kindle reading app or another Kindle device. Items you own in the Cloud appear under the Archive tab on Kindle for Mac.

1. From Kindle for Mac, click Archived Items to view items in your Kindle Library that are not downloaded to your computer.
2. To download the book to your computer, double-click the book cover.
3. To view items that are downloaded to your device, click Downloaded Items.

After you buy a Kindle book the title is saved to Your Kindle Library in the Cloud (Archived Items). From Manage Your Kindle, you can deliver books from Your Kindle Library to your Kindle for Mac reading app.

1. Visit Manage Your Kindle and locate the content you want to deliver to your Kindle for Mac app.
2. From the Actions drop-down, click Deliver to my
3. Select Kindle for Mac, and then click Deliver. Your book is delivered and automatically downloaded to your Kindle for Mac app.
4. From Kindle for Mac, click the Archive tab to view and download the title.
