Return Items You Ordered

You can return many items sold on Amazon.com. When you return an item, you may see different return options depending on the seller, item, or reason for return.

Need to return an item?

To return an item you ordered:
  1. Go to the Online Returns Center

Select Return Items to display your recent orders. To return a gift, see Return a Gift.

  2. Choose items to return

Next to the item or order, select Return or replace items.Select your item (if applicable), your reason for returning it, and explain the reason for your return.

  3. Choose how to resolve your return

Select to issue a refund or replacement, if applicable. For items sold from an Amazon seller that aren't eligible for Amazon Prime from that seller, you will see "Submit return request". The Amazon seller reviews return requests before issuing a refund or replacement. If you do not receive a response within two business days, you can submit an A-to-z Guarantee claim. For more information, see A-to-z Guarantee Protection.

  4. Select how to send your item back

Select your return shipping options and how you'll obtain your return label. For items sold on Amazon.com, return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund depending on the reason for the return. To learn more, see About Refunds.

  5. Locate your return label (if applicable)

If you select a shipping option that requires a return label, it will be emailed to the email associated with your Amazon account and accessible from Manage returns. You can also select to mail your label to the shipping address listed on your order or email it to another email address.

Tip: Each return label is assigned to a specific return. To make sure that you receive the correct refund, don't include items from multiple orders or shipments in the same box.

  6. Add your return label (if applicable) and package your items for return.
