If your device includes Special Offers, you'll receive special offers and sponsored screensavers directly on your Kindle. Examples of past special offers include:

• $10 for a $20 Amazon.com Gift Card
• Save up to $500 on select HDTVs
• $1 for a Kindle book, choose from thousands

Your offers display on your Kindle's screensaver and on the bottom of the home screen—they don't interrupt reading. You can also access and view a complete list of current special offers anytime on your device.

Viewing Special Offers

At any time, you can view all current offers if your device is subscribed to Special Offers.

Kindle E Reader Family

Special Offers appear on the screensaver when your Kindle device is in sleep mode, and at the bottom of the Home screen.

To view offers while using the device:

1. From the Home screen, press the Menu button and select View Special Offers.
2. Select the offer to learn more. Your Kindle device will automatically connect wirelessly if you select to learn more about an offer.

Kindle Fire Family

Special Offers will appear when you wake your device from sleep mode, and they also appear as text on at the bottom of the Home screen.

To view offers while using the device:

1. On the Home screen, scroll to and select Offers.
2. Tap an offer to learn more. Your Kindle device will automatically connect wirelessly if you select to learn more about an offer.

Unsubscribing from Special Offers

You can unsubscribe from Special Offers at Manage Your Kindle.

Amazon is able to offer Kindle models at a subsidized price by delivering Special Offers and Sponsored Screensavers.

By unsubscribing, you will be charged a one-time payment (if you originally purchased a Kindle Special Offer Device).

1. Locate your Kindle device in the Manage Your Devices section of Manage Your Kindle and click the plus icon to display more information.
2. In the Special Offers column, click Edit and follow the instructions to unsubscribe from Special Offers. You'll see the amount of the one-time payment before you confirm.
3. Turn wireless on, and the next time you connect your Kindle device wirelessly, it will complete the process of unsubscribing your device from Special Offers.

Your 1-Click Payment Method will be charged when you unsubscribe from Special Offers, but will not be debited from any Amazon.com gift cards on your account. You'll receive an e-mail notification that will confirm your payment for unsubscribing from Special Offers.

Subscribing to Special Offers

You can subscribe your Kindle Keyboard, Kindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Fire, or Kindle Fire HD to special offers at Manage Your Kindle.

1. Open the Manage Your Kindle page.
2. Locate your Kindle device in the Manage Your Devices section and click the plus icon to display more information.
3. In the Special Offers column, click Edit and follow the instructions to subscribe to Special Offers at no charge.
4. Turn wireless on, and the next time you connect your Kindle device wirelessly, it will complete the process of subscribing your device to Special Offers.
