Quick Guide to Using Your Kindle TouchAfter you register your Kindle Touch and set up your 1-Click payment method, you can start using your Kindle.

Go to the Home ScreenFrom the Home screen, you can view items in Your Kindle Library in the Cloud or view and open items that are on your Kindle Touch. You can also access settings to connect to Wi-Fi or receive items that have been delivered to your Kindle. Connect to Wi-FiIf your Kindle does not include 3G or is not connected to a 3G network, connect to a Wi-Fi network to shop, buy, download, or sync content.
When you successfully connect to a Wi-Fi network, the top-right corner of the screen shows the Wi-Fi status and the signal strength of the network. For example,

ReadAfter you download items to your Kindle Touch, you can start reading. You do not need to be connected wirelessly to read on your device. You can also sync titles that you are reading on other Kindle devices or Kindle reading apps. Learn more: Sync Across Kindle Devices & Apps Remove Books from Your KindleAfter you are finished reading a book on your Kindle Touch, you can remove it from your device. To save your book's bookmarks, highlights, or notes, make sure Whispersync (the Kindle device synchronization feature) is on before you remove your Kindle book. When you remove a book from your device, the book is saved in the Cloud and still accessible from Manage Your Kindle.
