How do I sign up for Amazon Prime?

To become a member of Amazon Prime, visit our sign-up page:

Can I order using 1-Click?

Amazon Prime works best when you use 1-Click Shopping. Amazon Prime members see a special ordering stripe at the top of product detail pages.  Most of the time, you'll see two members-only 1-Click buttons in the stripe: one button instantly orders the item with Free Two-Day Shipping, and the other button orders the item with One-Day (Overnight) Shipping for just $3.99 per item.  The stripe may also show special Amazon Prime weekend or other shipping options on qualifying merchandise.

To get the most out of Amazon Prime and 1-Click, please check your 1-Click settings:

Visit our Ordering Via 1-Click Help page for more information.

Can I shop without using 1-Click?

If you prefer to use the Shopping Cart instead of 1-Click, simply place items in your Shopping Cart and proceed to checkout as usual. On the order summary page, you will see:

Which items are eligible for Amazon Prime?

Eligible products will be designated on the product page, in the order pipeline, or at check-out. Generally, most items eligible for Super Saver Shipping are also eligible for Amazon Prime Shipping benefits. The program is limited to products sold by Amazon.com and by third-party merchants participating in the Fulfillment by Amazon program.

Why didn't my order qualify for Amazon Prime shipping?

The following items are not eligible for expedited shipping under Amazon Prime:

* Due to their size and shape, some Prime-eligible Amazon.com products may not be available for Free 2-Day Shipping. As a Prime customer, you will still receive free shipping on these items, however, they can only be shipped via Standard Shipping.

Which addresses can I ship to using Amazon Prime?

Members can ship eligible items to any valid address in the continental United States as long as it meets the restrictions outlined in the Amazon Prime Terms & Conditions. Members are not limited to shipping eligible purchases exclusively to their home billing address. Certain addresses such as P.O. Boxes are excluded from One-Day and Two-Day delivery services because our express carriers are unable to ship to these addresses. Members are entitled to Free Standard Shipping on eligible items shipped to some addresses ineligible for express shipping. See the "Eligible Purchases" section of the Amazon Prime Terms & Conditions for full eligibility rules.

How do I share Amazon Prime with members of my household?

Inviting family members to share your Amazon Prime membership is easy. Simply log into "Your Account" and click on the link to "Your Amazon Prime Membership." There you will see a list of your current membership, the status of all members linked to your Amazon Prime membership, and options to add or remove members.

What else should I know about Amazon Prime?

Can I cancel my membership to Amazon Prime?

You can cancel your Amazon Prime membership (except for any promotional trial memberships) and receive a refund of the membership fee if you or your registered guests have not made any eligible purchases. To do this, visit the Manage Your Prime Account section of Your Account and click the "Cancel membership" button. If you've used your membership and don't qualify for a refund, you'll see the option to turn off auto-renewal.

Does my membership renew automatically?

Yes, your membership is set up to automatically renew annually. You can use Your Account to choose not to renew or to update your preferred payment method for membership renewals. If the preferred method is unavailable (for example, a credit card has expired), for your convenience we will use another payment method we have on record for you. Your initial sign-up is an authorization for us to use the preferred or other available payment methods.

Is a promotional trial membership different from full membership?

We sometimes offer certain customers various trial or other promotional memberships.  Trial memberships cannot be canceled, but trial members can at any time (through Your Account) choose not to upgrade to regular annual membership at the end of the trial period.  The Amazon Prime Terms & Conditions apply to these memberships except as otherwise stated in the trial offers.
