Have a Kindle Fire, working great until last evening when I tried to go onto the web. I can use applications that require wi-fi such as USA today, Weather...but when touch "web" the screen goes grey and then pops back to the Home carousel. Any ideas why this might be? My wi-fi is fine, signal is strong; I've tried shutdowns, restarts...still no web access.

I have a Kindle Touch 3G and have no 3G connection. Also noticed that I've got a ton of new, foreign-language books added to my archives. Things are getting wiggy...

Not a ton of foreign language dictionaries. Just 2 or 3 and they arrived with the last update. If you can't get a 3G connection, the problem might have to do with the availability of celll phone towers and not the Kindle touch.

I am having the same issue since last night. Sent an email to the help center and I am waiting on their response. At least now I know that it is not a problem with just my kindle. I am hoping that the issue gets resolved soon.

For all with the Web problem:
You may benefit from resetting your browser:
* Go to your HOME page
* Gear Wheel (upper right) > More... > Applications
* Set upper drop-down filter menu to "All Applications"
* Swipe down to "Browser" (an Amazon symbol next to it)
* Under "Storage", "Clear Data"
Nothing will be lost or harmed by doing this, though you will lose your browser bookmarks and passwords.
You will need to reset some things in your Web Settings after doing this.
* Open the Web browser
* Click on the Menu icon (garage door icon) on the bottom bar
* Re-enable Flash by setting it to "Always On" or "On Demand"
* Acceleration OFF
