I have a Cruz T410, came with Amazon App Store and Kindle pre-installed. Updated to newest kindle app and now when in the app, I tap on store, it trys to go to the website, not the mobile store I am used to seeing. It will sit there for a second (in a browser) and then close and return to my kindle app. So now I can't browse or buy anything... uninstalled the update, still did the same thing... what can I try next?

Well that's no good! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Kindle app.

I'd suggest clearing the app data. That will remove any bits of saved information that may be causing the issue. This will clear the registration information as well, so you'll need to re register the app to your Amazon account. Once that's done, you should be able to access the store without issue.

Feel free to come back and let us know how it goes.

I am having the same problem - a brand new ASUS Infinity TF700T tablet, with Kindle pre-installed. The 'Kindle Store' button just tries to open a webpage and won't open in-app. I have tried uninstalling updates, clearing the cache, clearing the data, deregistering the device, re-registering it, etc. and checking the store problem each time. Any ideas?

I'm sorry that you're having trouble getting to the Kindle store, Jason. It sounds like you've done some really good troubleshooting already. Since that didn't resolve the issue, I'd suggest speaking with Kindle Support. They will be able to help with some real time troubleshooting, as well as report the issue to our software developers, if needed. You can reach them by clicking the yellow "Contact Us" button on the right side of this page.

Feel free to come back and let us know how it goes. Have a great Friday!
