You can't remove the icon for a book on the cloud tab from your Kindle itself. You have to go to the Manage Your Kindle page on amazon.com, select "actions" next to the book, and select "Delete." Note that this will permanently remove a book from your account. You will no longer have access to it and you'll need to repurchase it if you ever want to read it again. This action is irreversible once you do it. Books on your cloud tab are just a list of what's in your archive, they don't take up any room on your device so there is no need to delete them unless you are sure you never ever want to read that book again.

Sir, thank you for your quick response. I did exactly what you advised. But still...it is there.
