Sending web content to Kindle is now easier than ever.
We are excited to announce "Send to Kindle for Mozilla Firefox," adding another convenient way to send content from the web to Kindle. Add the Send to Kindle button to your Mozilla Firefox browser to quickly send news articles, blog posts, and other web content to your Kindle to read anytime, everywhere on Kindle devices and reading apps. Send to Kindle for Mozilla Firefox makes web articles easier to read-we send just the content you want and not the distractions.
You can send content to one or more Kindle devices and Kindle reading apps or you can simply archive it in your Kindle library for re-download later. With Whispersync, your last page read along with bookmarks, notes and highlights are automatically synchronized across your Kindle devices and Kindle reading apps (with the exception of PDFs).
"Send to Kindle for Mozilla Firefox" is available for free download at http://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle/firefox. Support for Google Chrome is available. Support for Apple Safari is coming soon.
Learn more about other convenient ways to send and read documents and web content on your Kindle at http://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle.
If you have any questions about this new feature, post them here.

I've been trying to send but its not sending. Mac, Firefox 16.0.2, to a touch and android. I get the sending window with the spinning indicator but nothing ever arrives and the indicator never stops spinning.

I had my first chance to really try this out last night, but it's not working for me either: PC, Windows 7, Firefox 16.0.2. Same experience as Buffy above. I get the "Analyzing Website" screen, then the "Loading Preview" screen, but after that nothing happens--just the infinite spinning. If I click the "Send" button, Firefox just hangs up.
ETA: Windows Version

Cool, but is there an easy way to delete the hundreds of "Personal content" items we'll get in our Kindle Management screens?
I was using Calibre for months, and when I checked my Kindle page on Amazon, I had several PAGES of unwanted "Personal downloads" to delete - and I could only delete them **one at a time**!
It uses space I'd prefer to have for my PDF's and other books! And it takes a looooong time to delete them all every so often!
I suppose I could make a Greasemonkey script, or something similar to do it for people? I don't know if Amazon would allow that though.

Same infinite spinning here. I'm using Firefox 16.0.2 on Mac 10.8.2. I disabled all other Firefox addons to see if it was a conflict, and it still doesn't work.

Josh W, I uninstalled the Send to Kindle add-on and then re-installed it from your link above and got the same results as before. It still just spins away and nothing happens. I left my computer for about 5 minutes, and when I came back the indicator was still spinning. For some reason, this add on is just not working for me.

NoNic, that's no good. Have you had a chance to contact Kindle Support? They'll be able to collect the details of what's happening and pass that information on to our developers. You can reach them by clicking the yellow "Contact Us" link, which is on the right side of this page, or by clicking here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us/kindle-help.html
Please post here again to let me know how that goes and if there's anything else I can help you with!

Just installed 'send to kindle' on FF 17.0/Win 7-64bit. As with others, I just get the (busy) spinning circle. Like the idea, hope I/Amazon can get it to work.
Josh W., I've just spent 30 minutes on the phone with Amazon support. The three people I was passed around to were not aware of this service. The third person tried valiantly but in vain to help me. Perhaps I'll re-install this at some future date.

Deleted all add-ons to FireFox. That didn't help.
Then I "reset" FireFox (Help/Troubleshoot Information/Reset). It went to version 17.0. Re-installed "send to Kindle" add-on. Now it works (mostly) although it has gotten stuck once or twice.
Running FireFox 17.0, Send to Kindle for Mozilla FireFox 126.96.36.199.

(To Russian Blue, Miss Jane, D Brooks and others with the "Spinning Circle")
Firefox -> Options -> Privacy
Is "Accept third-party cookies" checked?
If not... Click Exceptions, Type "amazon.com" and click "Allow. Click "Close", Click "OK"
If it is... I'm not sure... sorry.

To Brian N:
I was having the "infinite spinning" problem and your third party cookie fix worked for me. I added the exception for "amazon.com", restarted Firefox, and away it went.

How do you covert PDF documents to Kindle format with "send to Kindle" for Firefox? I've clicked on to the send to Kindle app and see no indication for "options".

I use v184.108.40.206 which doesn't work on my Firefox v21.0 whatever I tried. Whenever I try to send an article to my K.Paperwhite, it pops up with the following message:
We could not find extracted content matching this request. Extracted content is stored on your computer for 30 days and will be removed after this period.
Any help is appreciated!!!

I'm having the same problem and getting the same 'can't find extracted content' message. Even highlighting the text I want to send to my KF doesn't work. I get the same message. Can't seem to find any help with this. I tried re-installing the Send to Kindle app, and looked at my Firefox privacy settings (as suggested upthread), but still can't resolve this.
