I am getting 2 errors on my Fire: "The process android.process.media has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and "The application Kindle Keyboard (process com.android.inputmethod.latin) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I force close them. The error repeats every few seconds. I can not type. I've Hard Reset. No change in message. Any suggestions?

I think we need to clear the Kindle Keyboard app data. Since you've already done a device restart here's how to clear the data:

1. Tap the Quick Settings gear icon from the Home screen
2. Select 'More;
3. Tap 'Applications' in the drop-down, then select 'All Applications'
4. Swipe your finger up the screen and select 'Kindle Keyboard'
5. Tap 'Clear Data', then 'OK'

Please post again and let us know if you keep seeing this message. I hope you have a great day!

I have received the same message after clearing the apps I had and removing various documents I had loaded. This was in response to other error messages including; "Sorry! The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." and "The application QuickSettings (process com.lab126.otter) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I was intending to reset to factory default settings, but now once I swipe to log in, I immediately get the errors and have to force close and restart. I tried to download the 6.3.1 update and managed to transfer it via USB, but receive the various errors when I try to open the menu.

I have owned this Kindle Fire for about one year and only just started having problems in the last few days. What do I do now?

John Dawson - I'd recommend getting in touch with Kindle Support for real-time assistance with this. You can reach them 24/7 via phone or chat just by clicking the "Contact Us" button on this page, or use the following link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/contact-us/kindle-help.html
