Not receiving price change notification anymore?

When I used to view my "cart" there would almost always be several notifications at the top showing any price changes since my last visit. But about a week ago these stopped. At first I just figured nothing was changing in price. However, I started tracking some of the items in my cart and they were still changing in price. Does anyone know what the issue might be? I clear my cache on a regular basis.

Thanks

We haven't heard anything about them stopping this feature. Since we do hear about lots of site issues, especially from those using Internet Explorer, you might want to try a different browser and see if any price changes show up then. If they do, you know it's browser related. If they don't, maybe Amazon has made a change. You could ask customer serivce. Use the Contact Us button to the right.

I just checked my Cart, and I had five price changes, four up and one down. reg is spot on about changing browsers being the most likely fix. If that doesn't do it, please let us know.

Just had a price change in IE. Had one in Chrome yesterday. Whatever it is, it's probably your specific browser, computer or account.

Thanks for the replies. I contacted support and was told they were currently running tests on this feature.

"From time to time, we test both new and existing features on our website to determine which characteristics or services drive customer purchases and satisfaction. We're currently testing price changes notifications.

During these test periods, certain aspects of our website will appear differently to randomly selected customers, or to the same customer on different computers or browsers. We're continually fine-tuning our presentation to provide our customers with the greatest value, selection, and information for their online purchasing decisions."
