This will always be one of my all-time favorite books. It's a beautifully written, haunting memoir that will strengthen your spirit.

I agree...I just finished reading it and then "Unbroken Horses" and wow, I was just blown away at how she grew up and how well written these books were.

This book will make you question things in life, make you cry for these children but also show you resilience and hope. Great read.
