Leland P. Riggs says:
You should calm down and THINK before getting yourself all frustrated. The Kindle is fine, your lack of knowledge is the problem.
Go to 'Manage Your Kindle' on Amazon.com, and choose the Book/File that you want to transfer to your Kindle. Use the USB option in the drop down Menu. Save the file to your Desktop or someplace where you can find it. Do as many files as you wish. When you are done doing that, go to where you have the files saved. Plug in the USB Cable came with your Kindle into both the Kindle and your Computer. As long as you know where the files are, go to 'My Computer', and open up the Kindle Drive. Your kindle show up as a Storage Device. Open the Kindle Drive up and there will be several folders there. Open the 'Documents Folder', and then Copy or Drag-n-Drop the files to that Folder. Done Deal! You don't need to be connected to Wi-Fi. All Kindles should have the 3G option because most people don't have access to Wi-Fi. There are usually many places that have it for FREE like McDonald's etc. Don't blame the product for what you don't understand, and ask for help instead of whinning.

Thank you Leland. It would also help if the video were faster and not so jerky. After it has played a few times it is smoother and not so frustrating. Now to see if I can do this alone!

K. Sharman says:
Leland, your explanation is very clear--much clearer than the video because you can follow it one step at a time instead of having to remember everything all at once from a video file that is jerky because it keeps buffering.
Only problem is, although my computer indicated that the drivers for the kindle were installed, it doesn't appear anywhere on the computer. I did find the book in my download files. So how do I get the Kindle (Fire) to show up in the computer's menu.

Click on archives. click down to the item that you want on your Kindle. It will then download onto your Kindle. Thank you for your comment. I wasn't finding the book on my Kindle after following the video and your comment helped me find my book.
